Was coming here to suggest Wyze. We’re happy with our Pro v2. US-based company as well. SD records 24/7 and subscription is affordable if you choose to sign up (around $3/mos)

I have the wyze doorbell v2, all said is true. I had to get the subscription to avoid all motion detection. The subscription allows smart detection like people and pets. It also gives me cloud storage in case someone rips it off , they would be caught doing so. I also have an SD card in it . There is a slight lag time though. I had another brand doorbell that was great but got old and video quality suffered , was also 80.00 a year for Subscription It's a lot more expensive to buy also. So i got the wyze for the money it's ok I do have other wyze cams so all in one app makes it convenient.

I had the Wyze doorbell launch edition. It was great for about a year and then I started having tons of problems with the cloud storage (which I started having to pay for and somehow got worse) I ended up the Wyze doorbell 2 which Has a MicroSD slot. It's been perfect for a couple years now and was like $50 for the video doorbell and chime module (hooks up to the factory chime box) I wish it supported the 110v wall wart chimes from the old one. I think I had to replace the SD card once but That's pretty minor.

Wyze Video Doorbell V2 is like $60 and works perfectly fine with just an SD card. It checks all the boxes you're looking for.

i got the wyze doorbell v2 after having the v1 for many years. it’s been running great, much better than the v1. it’s just as fast as my v4 cameras with the notifications. but my internet is also good + i have several eero routers spread out. 7 - v4’s 4 - v3’s (1 w/ garage door opener) 2 - pan v3’s 1 - floodlight pro 1 - doorbell v2 2 - outdoor plugs 4 - indoor plugs i also have 8 v4’s at my parent’s place. i plan on adding a doorbell v2 there as well. i do pay for cam+ yearly @ ~$80, because it helps with muting unnecessary motion alerts. but i also run sd cards continuously on all cams. you can also use it with your existing mechanical doorbell chime, with their plug in chime ($20), or both like i do. i got mine randomly last august, when i noticed they were $25 at home depot & amazon. idk why they’re $60 now. but if you have existing wyze cams, i’d recommend to go for it. you can always return it to amazon if you don’t like it.

I use Wyze brand. I have multiple cameras inside/outside and just hit the doorbell. Had the ring but after 10 years it died. Wyze is very easy to setup. The app is very easy to navigate, the picture quality is great. Tge Wyze has a bigger view then Ring on the doorbell camera.

Cheap and you just pop an SD card in there and don't need their cloud subscription. Granted if you actually want to retrieve that footage it's sorta a pain (it saves in 1 minute increments so you'd need to use 3rd party software to stitch it together) but I really like how easy they are to use.
