Wyze - [https://www.wyze.com/collections/video-doorbells](https://www.wyze.com/collections/video-doorbells) Love their cameras. Plus a lot of features are free unlike most other camera companies out there.

Avoid Nest. Ring works, but I’ve also had a good experience with Wyze products. But any of these products depend on Internet connections to a Cloud server. You can increase reliability and lower costs with IP cameras and a small NVR.

Blink and Wyze have sd cards to record events. I’ve tried Wyze and Blink and prefer Ring with $9.99 subscription.

TP-Link's Kasa or Tapo devices are what you want. Get a large enough memory card and you'll have 24/7 recording for a month. Great quality video as well. I previously had Ring, Nest, and Wyze doorbell cameras, my Tapo doorbell camera is superior to those.

I changed out all my Nest cameras and doorbell with Wyze and do like them. You can see the live views of the cameras in Google Home on Android, but it is very slow to load. The Wyze app works a lot better and you would need that to view historic clips. I do occasionally view the live feeds from my Google hub displays and it usually connects withing a few seconds. I can also control turning cameras on and off via Home or Hubitat.

Also use Wyze. In the more technical communities they get a lot crap but they’re very good. I get rather techy with various setups. With Wyze systems you can keep it simple - plug n play, or go far with advanced setups like IFTTT (If This Then That). Please don’t use Ring and do your best to limit any Internet-connected devices (IoT).
