Bluesound Soundbars - great music reproduction, good for movies too. Bang and Olufsen Stage - great music reproduction and deep bass (no sub woofer). Movies won’t produce floor shaking bass. Limited to 3.1 I own both but still prefer my q acoustics towers.

I’m at this moment listening to a B&O Stage that was delivered yesterday. The bass is astoundingly strong for a no-sub solution.

Absolutely, the feeling you get having nice products like B&O around the home just makes you want to listen even more. Emerge, Level, and A5 are all relatively inexpensive compared to the others in the lineup, and are easy to place around the home. Balance and Beosound 2 have much better audio quality and look and feel very premium. A9 sounds even better if you have the space for it. Beolab 8 and 28 pairs get into some really serious audio quality. If you would like to include TVs, the Theatre, Premiere, and Stage will work with any television, or can be purchased as a Beovision set which includes the TV and a more streamlined design to match. They can also be grouped with other speakers around the home - let’s say you have a Premiere in the living room, you don’t necessarily need speakers for music AND tv in that room, the premiere (for example) can do both. The Stage will be discontinued soon so if you want one, get it while you can. Beosound Shape is a fan favorite, looks and sounds incredible, and you can get whatever design and colors, as big or small as you want.

These would be my only considerations, in this order: 1. Devialet Dione - there is a reason why it has no sub out. **The only other soundbar that tops the Dione is a B&O Beosound Stage. This is the endgame in soundbar. Or the Premier but we're talking over $5k at this point. 2. Sennheiser Ambeo Max - you don't really need a sub. 3. Sennheiser Ambeo plus - skip the proprietary wireless sub and use a wired sub with this. (The best bang for the buck) 4. Marshall Heston 120 - skip the sub 200 and get a wired sub. *The only other option that I will include in this rarefied list is the KEF Xio. The rest of your options do not belong in the same league.

Yes, the Dione and Max are that good. The Beosound Stage is even better! For wired sub, you can't go wrong with a SVS. I use a (cheaper) MartinLogan Dynamo 800x but that is *plenty* to go with my Ambeo plus.

✋🏼 I have the B&W Panorama 3 and it is a gem! It's not comparable to the Devialet Dione though. That is a powerhouse in a league with maybe 2 other soundbars. The Panorama 3 gets the job done though. Perfectly adequate in all respects other than if you want to play a Marvel movie and feel things shake. That's just not possible with this unit. Music is fine (high, mid, and bass are all good), sports, news, and dialogue on movies/shows are clear.

Ah, the B&O Beosound Stage - now we are talking! The Beosound Stage is probably the most refined soundbar that is out there. I will be having it in my living room (soon). It does not allow a sub out so B&O essentially wants you to listen to it just as-is. It is the most aesthetically pleasing soundbars. I'm enamored by the one in anthracite. Now, even though the Devialet Dione is also supposed to be one-in-all soundbar, comparing the Stage to the Dione is like comparing an Audi S e-tron to a Corvette Z06. Both are sports car but the former is refined and understated and the latter is loud and in your face. I prefer the Stage over the Dione but that's just me.

Not at all - Sonos does not belong on the same level as as either of the two. If you can, go and check them out in a store near you. Hear them. The build quality of B&O and Devialet are far superior. The sound quality is distinctly better.

No, you're the smart and wise one, *my friend*. Because you were able to delve into my psyche to find the inner workings of my mind. /s There is a reason why this sub reddit is called **Soundbars** and not *Sonos/Samsung fanclub*. The OP asked for specific soundbars and I provided my opinion about them. Great if you are happy with your Sonos (which is better than Best Buy junk) but don't "pretend" other options aren't better. One point I actually agree with you: that a dedicated sub matters. But if the OP does not want a sub that's their choice.

If you only want the 1 speaker, then b&o stage. Much much much superior to the arc

I would get a Beosound Stage it does not need a sub and is a great all in one. If you want to add speakers, I would say the Premiere/Theater. They sound lovely.

B & O Stage with the BeoRemote One BT remote control.

Sound bars will never be true surround, but can do a damn good job. We have used the Devialet Dione, B&O Stage, but both are a few years old I have a Beosound theatre l, which is arguably the best on the market, but bought it before prices went stupidly high
