"Back to back in my opinion they blow the airpods pro 2 out of the water in clarity, separation, and punch."
"these have the deepest, cleanest and "tumpiest" bass out there."
"The gemini 2s 5hz frequency response is incredible. Granted not audible, but you can feel it in certain music."

"Besides the center channel on Samsung is fantastic even on my Q800 which is not as good as the 990. It's so clear it's crazy, glass breaking in movies sounds real as well because of the center channel."
"blew me away with the level of detail it has ... nothing I've had even sounds remotely close ... none of them are even close to the Ambeo in terms of detail to the sound ... it's truly INCREDIBLE!!!"
"Sounds sooooo insanely polished & perfect it's almost scary how clean it sounds. ... If you strictly want the absolute cleanest sounding system, Ambeo Plus is the ONLY way to go!!"

"As far as the minimalist stage provided by a sound at footprint, dragon sounds like it’s making sounds from the corners of the room. The sound appears to come from old speakers that were left in place, like a visual prop."
"The rear speakers make a huge difference along with the upfiring speakers for Atmos content."
"our bedroom sounds like an imax theatre…"

"it's pretty much plug in, calibrate and play."
"pretty much plug and play since day one"
"My wife wanted to keep the room classy and minimalist, so we ended up trying some soundbars and opted to go with a Bose 900 and bass module 700. ... Clean looking install"

"For movies sonos and the lack of dts absolutely megasucks at every imaginable level. ... Sonos can't even play original audio content, dts, or lossless atmos. Sonos says it can take lossless atmos but from where? Not from a bluray player or a computer. There's no lossless audio on any streamed movie. Plus the tiny speakers, yes, sonos absolutely sucks for movies."
"Also the Bose soundbars don support DTS/DTS-HD (except the 700 which does lossy DTS core) so if you have blurays or use IMAX enhanced with a streaming service that audio will not work/ gets transcoded to lpcm."
"Bose only offers Dolby codec support (Digital, Digital plus, TrueHD and Atmos over TrueHD and DD+). ... if you watch Blurays or have a media server to watch lossless content then you won't have DTS support."

"the Arc without a sub sucks"
"the Sonos sounded nice but sounded like a soundbar big time. ... The Sonos arc system sounded really good, but it just didn't give me that same full cinematic experience in terms of depth and fullness."
"It is a HUGE improvement to just the sound bar. ... The app let me add my amp with bookshelf speakers as front left and right. Then it uses my OG Arc as a center channel (though other sounds do come out slightly) then I have two subs and 2 300s as rears."

"To be clear, the Aperion Audio setup I had completely obliterated my current setup, but it should given the cost, size build quality...etc."
"No it doesnt. it rolls of massively starting 65hz. ... at 60hz, you're already -10 db, which makes itvery muted compared to the rest. ... Anything under will be almost inexistant to human ears"
"none of them are even close to the Ambeo in terms of detail to the sound"

"the bose surrounds are dated as fck if you ever intend to expand."
Just picked up a Bose smart soundbar for $300 on eBay. Wanted something compact for my apartment living room. Loving it so far, will def add a bass module though next year
r/Soundbars • Any budget friendly sound bars that you recommend? I plan on spending $200-$250. No looking for amazing, but something decent for watching movies and music. Thanks! ->Hey I just got a 75” QM6K pro from Costco as well last month! Got a Bose Smart Soundbar from Bose refurbished for $300. I’m also in an apartment and needed better vocal clarity for tv and movies. Been amazing so far. You can also get a Sonos Beam from their refurbished site for around the same price. Both are good options for your use case https://preview.redd.it/xes4nohpu28g1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eba4aa01503b57c39d634593dd984a68f73d4198
r/Soundbars • Low end soundbars ->S60D, Sonos beam gen 2, Bose Smart Soundbar (have this and love it), JBL Bar 300mk2.
r/Soundbars • What soundbar to get? ->Bose Soundbar 900 with rear speakers and sub. You won’t look back! Best soundbar that I have ever owned!
r/Soundbars • Selling off my Sonos, need an alternative. ->To be honest, I tried Sonos and the soundstage was way better in Bose. AdaptIQ configuration takes the sound experience to a different level!
r/Soundbars • Selling off my Sonos, need an alternative. ->I was in your situation just 2 days ago.. After comparing the Bose smart soundbar with the Sonos Beam Gen2 in-store , I went with the Bose sound bar. I thought it sounded a little bit cleaner than the Sonos, plus the upfiring speakers was a factor for me too. It sounds amazing when playing Dolby Atmos content! Ofcourse, that's just my opinion when comparing it to the sound from my tv speakers. Im happy with my purchase and have no plans of returning it. I'd suggest going to a Bestbuy and trying out both.
r/Soundbars • First time buying soundbar. Budget $500. Any advice? ->I have the 900 with the bass 700, if I did it again I would do an actual 5.1. Hard to mimic the separation.
r/Soundbars • looking at bose soundbar. any suggestions? ->We recently got the bose smart soundbar for around 38-39k, it is quite amazing compared to stock TV speakers obviously, but also other soundbars we checked out at the store. Also the sound bounces well in our TV room, the dolby atmos compatible movies are actually great to listen to. The drawback would be that it keeps you locked in to Bose ecosystem, so to get the subwoofer is like another 30k. With JBL (not sure about the others as I haven't tried them out), they include the subwoofer with it. But also, people swear by the samsung soundbars, as they own JBL as well, and probably use the best of tech in their own soundbars. Would suggest swinging by your nearest showrooms to try them out personally, really comes down to how you perceive their sound
r/Soundbars • [India] Good Dolby Atmos Soundbar under Rs 35000? ->Bose soundbar 900 with my LG B4. Sound quality is great, but I frequently experience random audio dropouts. Unsure if it’s my soundbar or that I am running pass through all through my Xbox which is pretty notorious for having difficulties with full Dolby Atmos audio pass through Overall I’m at an 8 out of 10. Would be a 10 out of 10 but the audio dropping is super frustrating, especially since these devices are so expensive. I wish it would always just work!
r/LGOLED • What soundbar are you guys using with your LG OLED? On a scale from 1-10, how happy are you with the purchase? ->BOSE 900- + BOSE 500 Sub, It's awesome
r/LGOLED • What soundbar are you guys using with your LG OLED? On a scale from 1-10, how happy are you with the purchase? ->Geez. He downvoted you. No grace. For anyone else doing their own search, my Bose Smart has been great under my 32 inch monitor.
r/Soundbars • Best soundbar for this space? ->I'd pick the sonos. That being said you won't regret either one. Both sound great, but the bose surrounds are dated as fck if you ever intend to expand. Best thing bose has is that awesome sub which I think blows Sonos sub out of the water.
r/Soundbars • Bose or Sonos?! ->Bose sells their top line refurbished 900 or IQ soundbars under that price point. Comes like new, 90 day no questions return policy, and full warranty. The bose can further run any external subwoofer, so you can get the bar and an external sub for under $700. Auto tunes to the room (including the sub) and sounds great on all content including music…no need to fiddle with different modes as content changes. Absolutely blows away the Samsung Q990, but is more expensive than $700 if you want to add the rears. I’ll upgrade to the rears at some point, but it sounds amazing with room filling effects even without them.
