Bose in white looks so good in my living room. Big fan. On par (slightly better or worse than Sonos depending on the reviewer) and some good deals online for it

With my setup, I decided for the smart ultra with the sub. I do want to get the 700 surrounds but decided I'd do that later. I do think the bar has enough base, but also not. Depends how deep you want it. To me it was "good enough" but lacking so I picked up the sub.

I picked up the 75 inch model last October. I paired it with the Bose Smart Ultra soundbar and subwoofer. It looks and sounds fantastic.

Lol. Yeah, hometheater and soundbars dont mix lol. If your budget was a little higher, the ONLY soundbar i would recommend would be the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar. But just the soundbar, is a little over $700. Include the subs and the surrounds, and ur at $2300 lol. U can get much fuller and realistic sound for less with a 5.1 surround setup.

I’ve had the sennheiser ambeo, Bose smart ultra, and the Samsung q800, in that order. First two were returned for connectivity issues with my newish Samsung tv. The q800 has been great (the ambeo probably had the best surround but only if it connected). Q symphony is amazing. With the first two bars, you could clearly tell the sound was coming from below the TV… q symphony fixes that completely. And the subwoofer is amazing.

The Sonos is said to be superior. Bar and especially the Eras are more capable than the Bose Surround Speakers. Bose has fallen behind big time, especially regarding their accessories. The Surround Speakers are outdated and their Home speaker line is outdated as well. Atmos is still not a thing, even though it's widely available now. Nonetheless: The BOSE Smart Soundbar Ultra is an awesome soundbar and its sound should make you really happy. The Sonos as of now is just more capable and versatile. Bose needs to step up here, instead of a selling yet another Bluetooth speaker no one asked for.

Bose Smart Ultra has very impressive bass for a soundbar. I'd still always recommend a subwoofer but if I bought a soundbar with no sub it'd be that one.

Ultra. Granted I’m not a bass head and live in an apartment and tried both the 600 and Ultra. Wider soundstage and room correction(not sure if they’ve added it to the Smart). I’m still sometimes surprised at how sounds feel like they’re coming from the sides of my living room. If you feel the bass isn’t enough, you can save up and get the BM but you can’t add to the bar.

I was in the same position as you, didn’t want rears as the room layout wouldn’t work, didn’t want a sub because it’s below my son’s room. Ended up going with the Bose Smart Ultra. I absolutely love it. It’s great for music, movies are great, the bass is really good considering there’s no sub. The best thing about it is the quality of vocals. Would 100% recommend!

Interesting you threw in B&O which has no sub or rears but everything else you listed has or has the option for rears. I had the 1300x - great soundbar. Mine made popping noises when playing 4k discs though. No idea why or how, but decided to go with bose ultra with 2 700 subs and surrounds. It’s been great - good clarity and sonic sound.

Between these three... I think the Bose would be the better option. However, I would invest in a wireless sub just so you can have a more impactful experience. The Samsung would be second best, very close to the Bose but didn't have that good of a surround sound experience from some of the reviews I've seen. Probably because the Bose is 3.0.2 and the Samsung is 5.0. The Sennheiser Ambeo Mini seemed like the worst of the three, while still a decent stand alone, and I like it because it has a built in sub... it just doesn't stack to the other two in terms of performance. Persoanlly, I think the Sono Beam Gen 2 would be the better sound bar to get, as it's cheaper to upgrade with surround speakers and subwoofer. However, on it's own it has a better sound stage and offers a room correction feature.

I have a new A95L, haven’t set it up yet, but when I do I’ll be connecting my trusty Bose 300 soundtouch soundbar, which I’ve owned for the last 6 or 7 years. It has a great dialog mode, and gets used a lot when watching tv shows. Had it connected to my previous w805 and then A90J and its performed well. As it’s no longer sold, the updated version is the Bose Ultra or 900 soundbar.
