Smart Ultra Soundbar

This is an older version of the Bose soundbar ultra minus the two upwards. I have no issues with that Bose set up. Ran the Adapt set up with headphones, adjusted highs and lows on the bar. Added one click to the sub and it’s been fine. I don’t have anywhere at all for rear satellites. Sub size on Sonos and Samsung were small. I keep my sub at +1 and it’s plenty. I’ve set it higher on movies and it’s got the kitchen rattling.

I’ve not heard the Samsung bars at all. I jumped into the Ultra and 700 sub and haven’t been disappointed at all. I have no place for surrounds in my home. I have it in an open floor plan at around 650 square feet with 9’ ceilings. Cannot run from the sound or bass. Sound bar by itself is satisfactory honestly. The sub on level 5 playing a good movie and fantastic.

I have both those products . To me. Not much of an upgrade that will change your life

Have the bose ultra + bass module 700 for living room and Q990F for master bedroom, they are top notch.

I have both. Only downside of Bose is the surrond speakers and the cost. The bose ultra soundbar cost as much as the whole samsung system. The bass module 700 is another 900 to get the full potential of the Bose system. Their surround is way too pricy unless you want to wait for a new surround release.

I would say bose smart ultra with bass module but that would exceed your budget. Alternative i can think of is beam gen 2 and sub mini. After having 3 sets of soundbars and subs from tcl, sony, and lg where the sub just dies in 2-3 years, make me now willing to pay extra for modular approach. Another strong aspect of modular approach is your can buy used and upgrade/resell pieces down the line, which is what i did with sonos (just gradually do swaps on marketplace)
