I have been in the bose home ecosystem for many years. My main tv has soundbar 700 with surround soeaker speakers 700 and bass module 700. I love this setup! I then have other smart soundbars on my other tvs in the house. So that takes care of the rooms with tvs. On top of the sound bar, i have a portable speaker in my bedroom that can also be grouped to the soundbars. The portable speaker is “portable” and i can bring it with me to other areas of the house, or outdoor. I think this kind of the setup is the current limit of the bose home ecosystem as they have axed the bose speaker 300/450/500 series. You can always buy more portable speakers and disperse it around. If you are only looking to stream music across different speakers, you may be able to do it from your music streamer app. Spotify can do this. Hope this helps. I love my bose setup, but its a bummer that the home speaker series does not have a lot of options right now.
I have a Bose 700 sound with their cube surrounds downstairs, a Bose 900 with the 700 surrounds upstairs, and a Bose portable speaker I can move around the house. They all connect seamlessly and easily via iPhone for playing music. Works like a charm and stays in sync. Bose app works fine but isn’t needed except to add the speakers first time or to change the basic EQ or atmos levels.
With a room that size, I recommend the 700. The 500 doesn’t produce the same low frequencies and may sound boomy in a room that size. The 700 produces lower frequencies w ease, has better definition and quicker attack. You can turn the sub power output down and retain all the frequencies and definition. I have the 500 and 700 in different rooms. I use the 700 in our larger room and the 500 in the smaller. The 500 works in the bigger room, but tends to get boomy because it’s more mid bass frequencies bounce around the room. The 700 fills the room with no boominess.i currently have the output level set to -20 and it sounds great.
Using a Bose soundbar 700 with the woofer and rear speakers
Bose soundbar 700 has been fantastic. Best subwoofer out there
I love my Bose. Would only change it for an exceptional AVR set up.
Yes the 700, which I’ve had for 7-8 years.
I have the SoundLink flex. Love those speakers. And have the old Bose 700 with a bass module. Love both for different reasons. AUX cable may work.
I have the same soundbar and sub setup. Great sound. Just wish the settings were more granular and there was an on screen menu for when I don’t have my phone handy with the app.
