Bose - TV Speaker

I bought a Bose tv speaker a few years back and it sucked, it was marginally better than tv speakers but not much, as a laptop soundbar it is not bad though, still lacks bass but I don’t game I watch YouTube and teams calls so yeah it’s fine.

I totally loved mine. But it depends on your situation. I live in an apartment where I can't have a thundering subwoofer. Surround sound didn't matter to me either. What was really important to me was to have clear speech since so many movies are what I refer to as "whispers and screams" and Bose really delivered on that.

meh, too expensive for sub par sound (for the Bose tv speaker) in my opinion You can get better for less. Especially if they are just after clear voices

when i was looking for a bar, the reviews for the bose tv bar were avg at best. Look around, i cant even find it on many top X lists... just what i observed :) thats all

I'm not an audiophile. I've been using a cheap Vizio soundbar with a subwoofer for the last 5 years or so. We've always complained about how bad the dialogue was on it, very hard to hear if there's also music. I ran out to Best Buy and grabbed the Bose TV Speaker for $200 and hooked it up last night. The difference is night and day. All sound is crystal clear and the bass is surprisingly good even without its own subwoofer. There may be people with way more experience and knowledge than me that can tell you something better or why my pick is bad. But from my casual perspective the Bose TV Speaker far exceeded my expectations.

My wife got this Bose as a gift and I was shocked at the sound of this in the bedroom. I have a surround sound system in my family room that's set up to watch movies and sports, so I would not get this for that room but I would definitely buy it if I was looking for a low-cost effective solution before I pulled the trigger on something more expensive. bose is known for its outstanding dialogue clarity amongst its competitors and offers brilliant clarity over a small unit unlike samsung which provides a much larger bar for similar to slightly better performance such as the q800f or q600f, not taking in regard of the tv speaker instead the smart soundbar, its probably the best to me, i was going to purchase it if not the lack of white color so i had to go with the beam gen 2, but the bose smart soundbar and tv speaker are definitely really amazing soundbars, would recommend both of them, buy the smart soundbar only if you watch dolby atmos encoded content else the tv speaker will suffice.

Nothing perfect about it.sounds tiny doesn’t have hdmi arc and limited to optical only.I like Sonos products and own multiple speakers but Ray is generally considered the worst Sonos product.for example Bose TV Speaker is way better than Sonos Ray,same size/price much better sound and has hdmi arc.

Avoid Bose Solo and get the other entry model “Bose TV Speaker” soundbar.it’s affordable,and sound much better than Bose Solo or Sonos Ray.it also has HDMI Arc (very important) something that both Ray and Solo lack.

I've been using the Bose TV Speaker for years... Hit the 'Dialog' button and I can even understand Aussies!

I use a Bose TV Speaker via analog from a Dell 27" monitor. It also has optical and HDMI. I love the dialog button on the remote... old ears here.

$199 (down from $279) Bose TV Speaker $157 (down from $198) SAMSUNG HW-S50B My first sound bar was that Bose sound bar. It was in my living room until I upgraded last year; now it's in our guest room. Definitely worth the price. Samsung makes good sound bars. My current living room soundboard is Samsung. I found some good reviews for the S50B.
