Yes! So I'd recommend getting at least a 5 channel so that you can get the most clarity. The JBL bar 300 and Samsung hw-s60d are currently on sale at Best Buy. I'd lean towards the Samsung if you listen to live music. Even if you only go with 3 channels, one will be dedicated to the dialogue and will help clear up all the muddiness. I still recommend going 5 channels or more for better immersion.
r/Soundbars • Will purchasing a soundbar fix the awful muddy dialogue in movies? ->I just got the jbl bar 300 refurbished from ebay with two year warranty for like 129 w free 2 day air shipping direct from harmon. Will update this forum on how it works. Has HDMI in/out, Alexa built in, Chromecast built in, and supposedly google assistant although i have the JBL charge 5 WIFI that advertises google assistant and i cant get it working. I'm planning on mounting it on my full motion tv stand below my ancient Samsung tv/ Nvidia shield so i can cast to it in a google home speaker group.
r/Soundbars • Budget of $150 for a sound bar package? And whats the difference with 2.1-5.1 ->JBL Bar 300. It doesn't have a dedicated subwoofer. But the soundbar itself has plenty of bass. And it comes with plenty of features like Chromecast, Airplay, Alexa MRM , Bluetooth. Supports JBL app and you can customize the 7 band EQ. The display is neat and has no such voice announcements.
r/Soundbars • Please recommend a soundbar that I can turn off the voice announcements of its settings ! ->Some people her suggested JBL soundbars but be aware the Bar 1300 has a serious issue with voices. Any other bar seems fine. I love my little Bar 300. Avoid Sonos as they are in a very bad situation now since monthes. Harman Kardon bars could be interesting, on sales now, but rears are unavailable and all the line seems to be discontinued.
r/Soundbars • Soundbar recs to go with my LG C3 OLED ->I don't think satellites or subwoofer make sense in you usecase. Maybe a JBL Bar 300 would be great in your case. No sub, no satellites but a very good sound projection. And a calibration system which is quite fast. I just got this bar and am very happy with it. Replaced a Sonos Beam with it. Got it on sale at 300€.
r/Soundbars • Soundbar recommendation for moving island TV ->For a very mobile setup, I think a quite fast calibration is more convenient. And I don't miss basses with my JBL which is bass reflex IIRC.
r/Soundbars • Soundbar recommendation for moving island TV ->Yes a soundbar will give you a much better sound than your TV speakers. I would suggest a soundbar without subwoofer because basses are often the most annoying sounds for your neighbors you will still have basses but not deeeeeeeep and strong ones. A good soundbar will give you a good sund bubble even at low volume. I am very happy with my JBL Bar 300 but there are certainly other models which would match your needs.
r/Soundbars • Is it worth getting a sound bar if I can't have it loud? ->I have the Bar 300 and love it. Of course there is no sub so you don't get those overwhelming basses many people like ... And I hate. You have just regular basses, which won't shake your walls, fortunately. The sound projection is very good and can simulate rears, depending on your room configuration. It's Airplay and Chromecast compatible and very good for music too.
r/Soundbars • JBL Bar 300 or Sony HT-S2000 ->Got it for 250€ on sales some monthes ago in France.
r/Soundbars • JBL Bar 300 or Sony HT-S2000 ->I got a JBL Bar 300 for 250€. Very good. But it's not for you if you love deep deeeep and strong basses. It's just the bar without subwoofer.
r/Soundbars • Which soundbar under 300$? ->I have a not expensive JBL Bar 300 and love it. However you should avoid their bar 1300 which jas an issue with the center voice.
r/Soundbars • Bose or Sonos?! ->+1000 for the JBL Bar 300. Got it for 250€ and am pretty impressed, coming from a Sonos Beam I replaced because of the app devacle.
r/Soundbars • Will purchasing a soundbar fix the awful muddy dialogue in movies? ->I have a JBL Barr 300 that I’m very happy with. A soundbar with separate sub doesn’t work for me as I live in an apartment.
r/bravia • Looking for the best sound bar for my Bravia 7 85” ->I really like it. The Chromecast in a Google home speaker group seems to be intermittent, but if your only casting to the one device seems to work well. That said, I can connect to my JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi in my bathroom and the Bar300 simultaneously using Samsung Media output on my phone and tablet, and in the JBL app. You can use Tidal connect and Atmos sounds great in my small bedroom on movies.
r/Soundbars • Budget of $150 for a sound bar package? And whats the difference with 2.1-5.1 ->I have the JBL Bar 300. Love it. 5 channels, great sound, nice clean bass, eARC connection, no annoying lights that stay on. It’s on sale at Best Buy for $299 (normally $399).
r/tcltvs • Best sound bar for TCL QM7 75” ->Just check woot get a referb unit and wait to get a really good one when you don’t have neighbors. They have a jbl 5.0 that’s pretty good or the lg sp7r both under 200 at least they did I I got one of each. Both have low bass even though one has a sub. The lg really should be optical though unless your only doing 1080p or arc if you set has it as it’s only hdmi 1.4.
