Unfortunately I found that there is no HDMI connectivity in the Samsung soundbar. I bought the JBL one.
It has but I compared both. The JBL SB510 has a dedicated center channel which gives more clarity and better and clearer dialogue sound as compared to Samsung one.
I grabbed a JBL Cinema SB510 for my living room last year and it did a great job livening up the TV volume without breaking the bank or frustrating the wife due to a sub existing. I’ve definitely heard better, but it’s still a noticeable improvement over the tv speakers. If the JBL is not still available, a Samsung S50B will probably work for you. I definitely recommend getting a 3.0 bar, since the ability to turn up the center helps a lot for dialogue.
Recently purchased the JBL SB510 for $80 for my bedroom. I believe it's still on sale. Considering the price point, definitely happy with it. The only thing I wish it had was an display instead of the different dot colors to indicate the mode. It's made from a nice heavy metal grille and plastic. Whatever all in one soundbar you get make sure it's at least 3 channels. You'll want that center channel to clearly hear dialogue. I also tried the Samsung all in one soundbar previously but didn't like that there was no numerical volume indicator given the higher price point.
JBL Cinema SB510-3.1, paid $200 Canadian for it. Built in sub which provides more then enough sound for smaller places. Had it for almost a year and a half now
I haven't has any issues with it. But it does lack any real customization other then presets, I do wit the Dialog was much more clearer and tone down the other noise. However I need to retry my old firestick as apparently it can help normalize the sound so it's not so loud at night. Also it's along a shared wall I went for a built in subwoofer because for my bedroom I don't need a dedicated sub and fell like it's more than enough. Keep in mind I also have an Elac HT setup in my living room
There is a jbl 3.1 at 240. Specially made for costco. We have a open hall and the subwoofer is good.
You will almost never use the surround sound after 1 year. Thats if you even ever set it up to be surround sound in the first place. I removed ours the other month after 14 years (hasnt been turned on in probably 7) and replaced it with a $150 3.1 JBL soundbar from The Warehouse
The Warehouse had a JBL 3.1 soundbar for $150 a couple months ago, they are pretty good
We got a JBL 3.1 Soundbar from The Warehouse a couple months ago for $150. Sounds perfectly fine to me, comparable to the Bose on my parents have
