Bought both of them. Q600c is definitely better in terms the clarity of the sound. So if you watch movies, it’s probably a better choice. The bass however is slightly weak on Samsung, you probably wont notice that unless you compare it side by side with JBL. Having that said, Jbl is not at all bad with vocal clarity and bass quality can blow Samsung out of water. I returned Samsung
r/Soundbars • JBL SB580 or Samsung Q600C? ->You will almost never use the surround sound after 1 year. Thats if you even ever set it up to be surround sound in the first place. I removed ours the other month after 14 years (hasnt been turned on in probably 7) and replaced it with a $150 3.1 JBL soundbar from The Warehouse
