Donc après réflexion, j'ai pris la MK1 , je voulais les hauts parleurs dirigés vers le haut pour avoir un vrai dolby atmos. J'attends sa livraison
I finally bought the 800 Mk1 after finding a 15% coupon code online. Got it for less than 500€. Also don't hesitate to reply to me here next week, i'll let you know how it sound if you don't have any news from me. (although I don't have a lot of knowledge in soundbar systems as it's my first one). I bought it especially because there is a lot of 3D print files available online to put the external speakers on my walls (I have angled walls).
For my (newbie) perspective it's decent for the price. Good bass overall. The external speakers could have more punch, it has no bass at all and the sound is very subtle. But it creates an environment around you. My wife still thinks it's gadget but for real 5.1 movies source it creates the ambiance sounds behind you and that adds a lot to the movie imo. So I'm not deceived but I was waiting for a better sound with the external speakers...
Mk1 has the upward firing speakers but cant play DTS/AAC content in 5.1 whereas MK2 can but doesnt have real atmos

Different people have different tastes and different rooms, surrounding areas, and lifestyles. The Samsung q990f and JBL 5.1.2, just mentioned, are well-reputable soundbars. I have both of them. No regrets. Some time also depends on the contents.
Jbl 5.1.2 model 800.

If u are a bass lover look for jbl 5.1.2 old model or new model jbl mk2 5.1.2. Old model will not support dtx but new model yes.jbl soundbar is a beast specially for bass lover.
Try to find jbl mk2 800. New model
Small room then mid size soundbar q930f,jbl mk2 800 model.no more answer and question .problem will solve.what type of model tv do u have?
Ok Go With Older Version 😂
Check out the JBL 5.1.2 if you are coming from tv speakers it will be a massive difference. Even better if it’s going into a bedroom. For bigger living rooms the full immersion will be tough but you will def ask yourself why you didn’t upgrade the tv speakers earlier.
