I love my 1200. I do see people having issues. I had my own. From time to time, the sound doesn't work. I have it on a smart plug, so it's easy to power off at the plug and then back on. Powering it off with the remote won't work. That's the only problem I've had. Otherwise, the sound is absolutely amazing for TV and movies.

I do not like them. - I have a JBL Cinnema 1200 and it sound for text .... they call it Dialog...... from a film or serie is awful (sounds like people talk with a lot of clothes for their mouth inside a box where all mid and high tones are filtered away). - It does not have an app to correct the bad sounding text(dialog) like an equalizer. - It wants to connect all the time to my wireless network which I do not allow for privacy and security reasons. This cannot be turned off. - It hangs twice a month (need to disconnect power to restart it). - When it hangs, it is getting hot such that I do not trust this JBL soundbar when going on holiday. - Not sure, need to invest but it looks like it impacts performance of my wireless router..... but this is just a feeling.

The entire Cinema series is terrible. Sound-wise they're alright but reliability they're all terrible. I first had the Cinema 400 & eventually got the Cinema 600. The Cinema 400 started acting up like not turning on immediately. I sold it, got the 600 & Eventually the 600 started doing the same thing. And I actually had 2 of the 600's fully died on me. You'd see the power light indication just flickering & shit. And apparently it was the same story for the Cinema 800 & 1200 too. But the Flexus system really seems like a step up. The app connection feels seamless. I think the Flexus system is a huge step forward with having Onkyo (a huge AV name) taking care of the internal electronics.

Klipsch made the Cinema 1200 with surround and subwoofer that literally rocks the house! Subwoofer is an end table. Love it! Especially classical and organ, think Interstellar. Just beautiful sound. They replaced it with newer. Be interested in those reviews…

It is almost always working correctly she it does sound great! I have an RSL Speedwoofer 10 tucked away in the corner to give it some low end. The room is large with vaulted ceilings, so I don't get a great Atmos or surround effect, but it fills the room well and never sounds out of sorts. We use it more for music than anything else, and don't regret splurging in it. I also have a Klipsch Cinema 1200, which sounds amazing, but it requires a soft reset once or twice a week. Simple but annoying. I've thought about replacing that one with an Ambeo as well, tbh.
