Klipsch Core 200 and put it in front of the stand on the TV

I thought the same with mine, but it actually sits just below the screen and doesn’t interfere with the screen or remote.

I’m pretty happy with my Klipsch Flexus Core 200. I’m not running a sub or rears. And for the cost, hard to beat.

Klipsch Core 200 is a good all in one unit. It has integrated subwoofers as well. Check youtube reviews; the bass surprised most people. When on sale (a lot of times) its around $400. Don't buy soundbars that claim to have 7 or 8+ "channels" in just the bar alone. Atmos alone is a gimmick on most soundbars, let alone those that claim they can produce surround sound without surrounds.

Q930B isn’t besting a klipsch flexus core 200. this thing has 9 drivers and two built in subs and it punches way above its weight class at its current price.

klipsch flexus core 100!! absolute best sound bar in your price range. it’s $280 right now at best buy and it’s incredibly loud & clear with no distortion. punches way above its weight class. if you can spend some extra money the step up from that sound bar the flexus core 200 can be found for $345 open box at best buy. i have both. they’re both incredible

sorry just seeing this. dialogue is excellent there’s a dedicated horn loaded tweeter for the center channel solely for dialogue in the flexus core 200. dialogue is still excellent in the 100 and there are dialogue enhancement modes as well that bring out dialogue without ruining the ambiance of the movie.

I bought and returned an LG SC9S for a Klipsch Flexus Core 200 all-in-one soundbar and this soundbar is outstanding! The quality is very good, plus it has great bass for being just a soundbar. I’m in an apartment so I can’t really benefit from a subwoofer but that soundbar supports any direct connect subwoofer so you can shop out of its ecosystem. Can also buy surround speakers too. EDIT: Bought for $475, but sales on this go lower than that.

I posted on here before (now deleted lol) asking what is up with the LG soundbar hate? I had bought an LG SC9S and hooked it up and ran it and was, at first, really surprised on the output on the soundbar and subwoofer. After watching a couple movies in Dolby Atmos there was a few occurrences that left me thinking “is that it?” I’m not sure if it was the intentional mixing done in movies or what but it was leaving a dull taste in my mouth, especially for spending almost $600 w/ tax. Additionally the soundbar rear speakers were discontinued and the LG app support is awful, so those three items combined made me return it. Since I am in an apartment I was doing more research into “all-in-one” soundbars and ended up choosing the Klipsch Flexus Core 200. For $80 cheaper (w/ tax) than the LG, the Core 200 offered exquisite performance. I am very pleased with the looks and performance of the Flexus Core 200 and its ease of equalizing whether through the remote or their app. Klipsch also sells rear speakers and they allow you to wire any 3rd part subwoofer straight from the bar. If you’re in search for a bar that has good range I would recommend. When I move out I will be picking up the Klipsch Flexus Sub 100 and Klipsch Flexus Surr 100 surround speakers to complete the movie experience setup.

Glad to know someone else who appreciates the 200! I will need the sub at some point, I might buy it next time it goes on sale. I would hate to have something discontinued then has to get a whole different system.

The limiting factor was price and location. I don’t have room right not setup rears, I’m also in an apartment so I can’t really benefit from blasting subwoofer and it was $800. I just splurged on a TV too so with all that being said I was trying to stick to around $500ish budget that was practical for my living conditions. That’s why I landed on an all-in-one experience with Klipsch Flexus Core 200 but I also have the upgradability for when I change my space. RTINGs had this soundbar as an honorable mention but recommended the Core 300 which was again out of my price range. I didn’t even contemplate Sennhieser 😂 for price alone. I did look at the Sonos Beam 2 but I’m trying to stay away from WiFi reliant connections and prefer more analog approaches like eARC or optical. Also I heard it is a very good soundbar but it doesn’t have bass which the Flexus Core 200 has. I want some bass without needing to get their sub mini that would then be overkill for Sonos and my location.

I only really found this subreddit when I decided to upgrade from my 6 year old soundbar. I saw a lot of hate on LG and bought one and then made a previous post about it being good and asking why does everyone hate LG in this community. I then deleted it because I realized the one I had was buns (doesn’t mean all are) and then made this post. This will be my last post here but I don’t mind seeing what other people have and sometimes commenting here and there. RTINGs has the Flexus Core 300 as their best all-in-one soundbar so feel free to add that to your list. Another thing I notice is when you set a budget people always say “save up a little and get…” and then say something $1000 more like it’s that easy 😂 that is why I recommend the Flexus Core 200, it is also a honorable mention on RTINGs website. EDIT: r/hometheater is worse because if you even recommend a soundbar they execute you because you should be buying used components from 5 different manufacturers and wiring them all together for the price of your soundbar, convenience isn’t acceptable!

I got the Flexus Core 200 for my apartment, add the sub or surrounds as you see fit. Great all-in-one soundbar for my apartment. You might need surrounds though because you don’t have a back wall to bounce off of for spatial sound.

Yea I didn’t even think of that. Why the hell does the surr 200 rear speakers gonna cost more than the flex core 200 sound bar with the 100sw. I have the 200 bar and 100sw along with the surr 100’s but thinking of returning the 100’s and upgrading to the 200’s during the return window. Just not sure if it’s worth it. Probably not and just piece of mind that I got the best that was offered other than the core 300 that I didn’t even know was an option when I bought my core 200. I got that in a open box buy but brand new rear 100’s

Regarding Klipsch Core 200... - No WiFi nor Ethernet. - Single HDMI port. - No support for DTS. This may o may not be an issue depending on your setup. I own a Core 200 + Surr 100 + 2x Sub 100 system. I can confirm it sounds really good.

I have the Core 200+Surr 100+ 2xSub100. I think it's great. Here's a few things you must know: - WiFi interference may create crackling noises in the Subs. This is solved by using a wired connection or placing your Sub away from your router. - No WiFi nor Ethernet connectivity. - No support for DTS. If none of this is an issue for you, then congratulations, you have a great system that sounds great 👍🏽👍🏽

This is only necessary if you hear some weird noises at specific frequencies. I recommend that you test it first in case you need to buy a cable. In most cases, just relocating the Sub (or the router) will suffice. Edit: my Sub is sitting less than 1/2 meter away from my router. Thus, I had to use a cable. However, the same Sub didn't show any issues when placed 2+ meters away from the router.

Ignore looks, prioritize audio Quality. Most people recommend here would Samsung Q990D. I personally own an older model from Samsung and a new Klipsch Flexus Core. I like the sound of the Samsung better than the Klipsch. Bose, LG and JBL are recognized brands, but I haven't seen many people recommend them.

Klipsch Core 200 kicks ass. I love mine so much. Bluetooth connectivity is a bit.. fickle, at times, which is disappointing to say the least, but is only a problem when streaming Spotify from my phone, and even then it's fine 99% of the time. Stings seeing it for $100 more than what I purchased it for Christmas of '24 though.. No sub attached to mine, by the way, and the bass this thing pumps out is almost sexually arousing. Fucking massive.

It gets loud as hell. Never, do I need to go above 60%, and even that is near deafening.

I do. I love it. Bluetooth connectivity is my only gripe. Sometimes I have to leave my phone unobstructed within 10 feet or so, if I want to stream Spotify. Other times, I can stroll around the house with my phone in my pocket without issue. Maybe it's a phone issue - I don't know. Other than that, it's a thing of beauty. Full, intricate, and sharp sound. Bass is so fuckin sexy on this thing. You can hear it out in the yard, with the doors and windows shut, just at mid volume, and it's so fucking deep and smooth. Looks good too. And it's ultra wide too, so you really can get a stereo image just from the soundbar alone, without satellite speakers. What sucks is that it's more than $100 more expensive now than it was when I purchased it over a year ago.

Side note, and a bit of a funny thing, but the very first thing I played on it, was "All I Need" by Radiohead, and I was genuinely disappointed because I heard this like static, crackling, fuzz type artifact, so I complained about the speaker's sound quality. I came to realize that the song is imbued with that effect, and I had just never listened to it on a speaker that presented it with such clarity, so that it was discernable.

I keep dialogue boost at max, and I'm happy with the performance there. I watched Tenet last month, and found it distinguishable, but I keep subtitles on, so make of that what you will.

I bought my Klipsch Core 200 on sale for $350. It has eARC, and I watch all of my programming through it. It's incredible. I only use Bluetooth to stream Spotify.

Reddit IconDastardlyDan248

Yes, definitely E-arc. Arc has limited bandwidth so can impact sound quality and sync. I run a Bose IQ soundbar and it sounds incredible with Netflix Atmos or “spacial” sound. Maybe its compressed, but the bitrate is high and Bose does an excellent job of cleaning it up…arguably one of the best for dialog clarity which you are seeking. Very easy to use and while you can add the rears and a sub the bar itself is excellent. I’d also recommend the Klipsch Flexus core 200 at a lower pricepoint. Was not happy with music performance or Samsung, overpriced sub par products.

In an open floorplan the Samsung offerings will sound weak. I returned the Q990, as the bass “tuning” could not handle a similar open floor plan with cathedral ceiling. Could never find a setting for the EQ/surround processing that worked well for everything. Surround effects were great, but this bar does not do well in larger spaces. The Klipsch flexus will be the best of your list….bar has excellent bass by itself, subwoofer is solid and is tuned well for all content types. Also sounds great with music where I found the Samsung lacking warmth….. my tuning preference leans towards Bose products so YMMV. As you noted the Klipsch also can handle a different brand/size sub should you want to upgrade/expand in future….but I DOUBT most people would need to
