Under 300 I’d say LG S60T is your best bet. I had the same system and it gets loud enough to never use max volume. In fact I had to keep it under 50% to avoid my neighbours banging on my door (in an apartment).
Yes it was the s60t who is a better soundbar indeed. The s40t is average at best
