Yup. The LG S80QY https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/6498852.p?skuId=6498852&sb_share_source=PDP Open box. $154 for excellent condition and $143 for fair condition. If there’s one near you, inspect it first. Could probably knock off an additional 10% if you just ask. The rear speakers are a pain in the ass to find since they’re discontinued.

I could only find it because I bought it before new years and returned it because it was listed as excellent condition but missing the subwoofer… so it was saved in my purchases and I could find it and get a different one. I just picked mine up yesterday and it sounds great. Haven’t messed with any settings yet though. I do have a Samsung Q910D, but can’t really compare cause price difference and haven’t had it for that long. I’m happy with the LG bar so far though. For $150, definitely give it a shot. 4 year warranty is only about $25-$30 as well.

I don't think there's any specific features that stand out, some design aspects like the knobs on the top are nice. But just the Marshal name stood out to me considering they're known for guitar amps so that excited me as a rock music lover. I hope it has a channel adjustment tho. I currently have the Klipsch Flexus Core 200 + sub 100 and it's a nice system, however the dialogue can seem a bit too "pushed back" sounding. It's somewhat manageable with the midrange EQ & Dialogue adjustments but I still have trouble with movies background action being overpowering. I will say that I do miss the THD chart. That was a very helpful tool in making decisions, also helped me understand what I didn't exactly like about the sound. Like take my experience with the Vizio Elevate flagship system & the LG S80QY. I thought my LG S80QY had a very nice sound to it & it sounded good at normal conservative volumes, but once you turn it up it really falls apart and just sounds like it's shouting. Whereas the Vizio Elevate had a bit of a "tinny" sound to the treble overall, but it sounded really good and clean at loud volumes, and that alone would make me take the Elevate over the S80QY. I've had at least 15+ soundbar setups over the years, from Sony, Samsung, Bose, Sonos, Klipsch, Vizio, probably 2 or 3 other companies I'm forgetting too. Some disappointed me like Sony, some absolutely amazed me like Bose did with my Smart 600 + BM700, and some pleasantly surprised me like the flagship Vizio Elevate system. I hope to see the THD chart come back soon! Absolutely love the website!

I got the s80qy... the soundbar is great but subs are very underwhelming. Should read up the weak bass for LG subs.

Look at this eBay store. Used but tested soundbars on auction that go cheap. I got a LG S80QY from this seller for $45. The Sonos & Sennheiser go for a lot $ but everything else they run at auction ends up very cheap. Samsung, LG, Sony $25-60. JBL $80ish. https://www.ebay.com/str/regencytechnologies?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=vPncx0qoQa2&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=hgzr402oT5m&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

It depends how much sound you can afford in your place. I got lg s80qr and it works great for me. Same remote control as my LG tv and I am mostly listening it to 10 out of 100. I had it at 40-50 twice since I got it on new years. At that range it's more than enough for me.

I bought the LG s80QR to go with my 77” LG B2. Rear speakers are a must these days.

Sorry for the necro. The S80QR is reduced to over half price (£499) in the UK. It's an amazing soundbar, that handles anything I've thrown at it with ease. It's loud, but what really impresses I'd the sound quality. It sounds like a high-end soundbar should sound. I 100% anybody that's considering buying one, to pull the trigger. You won't regret it

It's not as good as it would be if it had actual speakers in the ceiling, but it is a rich and room-filling sound, especially in cinema mode with the right content. The rear speakers work well with 5.1 or Atmos, and I'm finding they really shine with games.

It sonos arc ultra work well with lg. I use it with my LG B4. Samsung make good sound soundbars. But they drop the ball on their firmware update with bricking some soundbars with the last update on their 990. If you are looking at a more busget friendly. The lg bars work well. They like the lower cost samsung does not do atmos like samsung top of the line. The lg s80qr is a pretty good soundbar that is not super expensive.

The LG DS80QY is the same soundbar as the LG S80QY, the "D" is specific to the region it's being sold in. This soundbar can only passthrough 4K 60Hz see [full review of the soundbar](https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/lg/s80qy) here and passthrough capabilities below: https://preview.redd.it/dxpb7wxytwle1.png?width=904&format=png&auto=webp&s=2b924d50f855f0be0ded76a8edc6ca890ff68484 I'm not sure who advertised this soundbar as being able to passthrough 4k 120Hz but they were lying to you, only a few soundbars just recently (2024) have added capabilities for 4k 120Hz passthrough video, see below: * [Samsung Q990D](https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/samsung/hw-q990d) * [Nakamichi Dragon](https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/nakamichi/dragon)

I LOVE my S80QR. I’ve never thought it was missing something. I’ve thought at times the subwoofer is a little punchy and not as deep as my Sonos but I love it. For $446 I’d say it’s not a steal but I think you’d enjoy it.
