I have a soundbar setup (LG SN6Y 3.1 with two satellite speakers) and it’s perfectly fine. I did have to finagle a little bit to get the surround working properly but that was mostly just figuring out what to plug where.
r/4kbluray • Are soundbar setups really that bad with 4K discs? ->Pretty sure that’s the model I had: suddenly started losing volume even when set to high. If that’s the same model, it was a common issue. No cure other than replacing a board.
r/Soundbars • I think my sound bar died ->Make:LG Model:SN6Y I was watching some TV and the sound cut out, and the sound bar showed MIN which I believe is low volume but nothing was on the remote. Wouldn't turn off or reset. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Still nothing. I guess now I'm looking for suggestions for a new one. It's for our bedroom, we don't need one with a sub. It's a fairly small bedroom and we rent. Any suggestions on a decent $500 sound bar? We really don't need anything crazy but I don't want cheap cheap.
