LG - SP9YA

I got a used LG Sp9ya and used transmitter LG spk8-s and polk owm3 rears for under $500. earc, dolby atmos, dts:x, surround speakers. system rated better equivalent to sonos arc on rtings but i have the advantage of being able to use all codecs. you could probably get something even nicer than that

I got a used LG SP9YA for $220. Those soundbars for $100 might not even be noticeable difference to TV speakers. Save up and get something used at least Id say.

Very happy with my LG SP9YA (got it on ebay for $240). Ordered the LG-SPK8S receiver on ebay ($67). Paired it with Polk OWM3 surround speakers ($114). Rtings rated the SP9YA comparable to the Sonos Arc. For the price I paid for everything (<$500). I am pretty satisfied. Updated the firmware via LG app, use it with xbox series X for DTS X and atmos content. Works great with my LG OLED. Built in room correction and AI sound pro. I can control individual speaker/sub volume via LG app.

I got a used LG SP9YA for under $250. I ordered an LG SPK8S rear transmitter without LG rear speakers. I purchased Polk OWM3 speakers to connect to the rear transmitter. I spent under $500 for everything total. [Rtings.com](http://Rtings.com) rates the SP9YA comparably to Sonos Arc. With the LG phone app; I increase the level of the rears to max and sub half way to max. It sounds extremely immersive; and with proper positioning of the rears it has a great spatial effect. I am very satisfied with the sound and having everything LG. You could sync the bar with your LG's built-in speakers. (like samsung q-symphony)

i have a used lg sp9ya, with a used rear transmitter, and new polk owm3 rear speakers. i spent under $500. everyone here hates sound bars but for what i spent i'm sure it would be hard to find traditional bookshelf/avr that can beat the sound. I also have the wife approval factor because the soundbar is mounted under TV and rears mounted on ceiling beam so there is not a shit ton of speakers everywhere.

I guaranteed the majority of negative reviews are people using cheap HDMI cables. Soundbars that process Atmos/Dolby digital Plus and video passthrough require high quality HDMI cables with high rates of transfer. I got an LG SP9YA , rear speakers, and rear transmitter for under $500. It sounds as good as a Sonos Arc. Majority of people with issues probably do not know how to update a firmware as well. There are a lot of good quality soundbars you can buy second hand that if you put up per $ against a 5.1 system would honestly sound decent.

I'm currently selling an LG SP9YA along with the rear speakers SPK8S for about $500 if you're interested? They were great!! I upgraded to the S95QR speakers.

Not just the side surround drivers and more power but 990 soundbar 3 drivers more than 930 series, 990 a total of 22 drivers 930 17 drivers and of course even more power LG parseh

There are different but not huge, for example 930 series sub 160 watts 990 995 series 200 watts of power just as soundable and rear speakers 930 series total power 540 watts 990 series 640 or 656 watts but if you are satisfied you need 990 grab the important thing is that you should be satisfied lg parseh

Difference side speakers more efects secondly 990 or 995 soundable 3 speakers more I have both soundable 935 d stands bedroom 995 living room I tried both my living rooms put it different like day and night that's why big 995 is already in living room you should if you have the opportunity test both soundable in your own room and believe me you will see what the difference is therefore price over 300 more than little sister 930 or 935 lg

And visually there is a difference in an HDMI input with 930 or 935, only one fas 990 HDMI 2.1 but 930 second HDMI only 2.0 and still difference 990 bigger soundable ready long and high therefore 15 speakers in soundable Greetings

The Samsung tv will help with center channel with the Q symphony I believe. Prob will not notice much if at all. Samsung as others had said is def a far better bang for your buck. I don’t consider myself an audio expect but I had what I thought was a nice lg 5.1.2 soundbar and the Samsung blows it away. Voice clarity is what shocked me the most. All ranges of sounds are more defined and crisp even when only steaming. 4k Blu-ray Discs up the level another few notches. There are a bunch of posts on this subreddit explaining how to save a bunch of money ordering some Samsung directly if you choose to go with that soundbar
