The “[Roku TV Wireless Soundbar](https://www.roku.com/products/audio/roku-tv-wireless-soundbar?srsltid=AfmBOopvWV-Lsvd4_8DXaafGTwPJpkeR6VpG6ZL6OWgYUmXuSKWhR3Uy)”(Soundbar Exclusively for RokuTV) will do exactly as you wish. I got one for my Dad’s RokuTV Pro, as he never understands newfangled things otherwise. Since it’s the ‘Wireless Soundbar’, it requires no HDMI cable nor connection to an (e)ARC HDMI Port. Just plug in into power outlet, and BAM, it auto senses and connects to RokuTV’s (not for Roku Sticks/Devices). It has no audio lag, uses only the RokuTV’s pre-existing native remote for volume control. The downside is that it is 2.0 Stereo channels only, no center channel. And it occasionally disconnects (once per month?), but a full restart of TV reestablishes connection (I think this is a side-effect of his TV being in “Fast-TV Start” mode) It “retails” for $149, but goes on sale for ~$99 all the time.
r/Roku • Which soundbar would you recommend? ->The new Wireless Soundbar only works on a newer series of Roku TV's, not on a TCL 55" from a few years ago. I learned this the hardway. I bought it to replace my Streambar Pro thinking it would be simpler and sound better, but I also have 4 wireless speakers installed with it. If I replace the Streambar Pro and try and setup the wireless speakers on the Roku TV with the Wireless Sounbar it doesn't allow it. One or the other, that's when I looked it up and saw the fine print. The speaker was too cheap to return, and took really long to arrive, so I'll save it for when my current TCL Rokut TV dies someday and I have to buy a new one...
r/Roku • Wireless speaker/soundbar ->I’ll be perfectly honest, I purchased a “Roku TV Wireless Soundbar” and “Roku Wireless Bass” about two months ago. While I was skeptical, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the performance and the native integration with the Roku TV. The sound impressive a well.
r/Roku • Best soundbar/speakers for a roku select tv ->If you get either the Roku TV Wireless Soundbar or the equivalent TCL Alto R1 wireless soundbar, you can use them along with the Roku TV Wireless Speakers in a 4.0 configuration, where the wireless speakers act as the rear right and left channels. See https://support.roku.com/article/360043306413 for details on the valid setups.
