u/Criitzt I can help you sort this out, or at least get started looking at some options. I'm assuming that you want to utilize 4K120Hz/FPS GFN streaming (with the Ultimate plan), and also take advantage of 7.1 surround-sound output (the max GFN supports). Is that a quick summary? I have this same goal, and I also haven't reached it yet. Let me begin by describing my setup - to illustrate what currently works and what doesn't, and my "plans for the future." That will hopefully shed some light on some of the questions you're asking, and inform your decisions on what to look for. I have an LG C3, an Intel NUC mini PC, and [this soundbar](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073W5T1QC) (purchased in early 2018) in the family room. This is my "daily driver" setup, for both GFN and Moonlight/Sunshine game streaming. The soundbar supports LPCM (uncompressed), Dolby Digital Plus/TrueHD Atmos, and DTS:X audio, and Dolby Vision video passthrough. It has four HDMI 2.0 ports: three inputs, and one output which supports ARC. The output is connected to the HDMI eARC port on the TV, but that will be constrained to standard ARC due to the soundbar. ARC (audio return channel) lets the TV output audio "back" to the sound system, rather than through its own speakers. eARC is the same concept, but with higher HDMI bandwidth. I have three things connected to the soundbar inputs: the mini PC, a PS5, and a Shield TV (Android TV streamer box made by NVIDIA). The video output from those devices, is passed through the soundbar to the TV (only one device active at a time, obviously). Because the soundbar uses HDMI 2.0, the maximum refresh rate for 4K (UHD) video passthrough is 60Hz. Due to this limitation, I'm currently using 2560x1440 120Hz video output for GFN and Moonlight game streaming (without VRR/G-Sync). The LG C3 supports HDMI 2.1 FRL 4K (UHD) at 120Hz, so I can connect capable devices directly to the TV's HDMI ports to take advantage of that. However, I couldn't then get LPCM surround-sound output to the soundbar, due to it only supporting ARC - I'd only get stereo output. ***If*** the soundbar supported eARC, then the LPCM 7.1 audio coming from the TV would work. What you'll want to consider, is how many devices you're going to use with the TV, and "where" those will be connected (to the soundbar, to the TV, or a combination). You most definitely want to buy a soundbar which supports eARC, so that you won't be HDMI bandwidth-limited. For me, to achieve 4K120Hz video from the mini PC, I need to either replace my soundbar with one that supports eARC (so I could then plug my mini PC directly into the TV), or use a device like [this one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXPG8VL6/) (which my friend u/wewewi told me about recently), to get around my ARC limitation. After all this, there is still one limitation remaining: [Cloud G-Sync](https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5504). My mini PC isn't currently supported for that, because it's not using a capable NVIDIA GPU. I don't find myself needing that feature, but wanted to highlight it for completeness. NVIDIA will allegedly bring support for AMD/Intel GPUs in the future, but I'm not holding my breath. That was a lot to read (sorry); what questions do you have?

I got the nakamichi shockwave. I like it, but it can be a pita to set up. Still sometimes has interference from wifi (we think) which can be frustrating.
