Don’t expect anything magical especially with the lowest end of soundbar. The only difference you should feel right now is probably the bass kicking in from the subwoofer compared to no bass from tv speakers
Fuck all the other answers if you are just looking to upgrade the TV speakers and not blow your doors off then just go with the onn 2.1 at Walmart I’m in a 13x11 room and it still can shake the room with base and the highs sound clear and pretty nice.
I just bought a new TCL Roku TV and the picture is awesome compared to my old one but the audio is not great. Decided to buy a soundbar thinking it would help but the audio sounds identical It’s a 2.1 channel onn 3’ soundbar connected to the TV by HDMI ARC Do I just need to get a better/more expensive soundbar? (I paid about $100 for this one) or is there some setting I need to change? Never had a soundbar before so any advice is appreciated
