r/buildapcAudiophiles, what is better for PC: Speakers or Soundbar?

If 250USD is your cap I think the onn atmos sound bar at Walmart is available on rollback then get Tidal for atmos audio streaming for the same price of Spotify premium. Dolby Access allows atmos for home theatre for free but headphones comes at $14 license subscription unless you have a headset like a corsair HS80 that comes with a free license.

Really depends on what your budget for a long time I used a Sony htct80 I picked it up for $50 used and I was happy with it currently I use the onn 5.1.2 sound bar you can get it new for $200 and it comes 2 satellite speakers and a sub and I’m really happy with that. It has arc and 4K 120 hdr pass through

It’s an ONN 5.1 soundbar from Walmart lol. It’s just a cheap soundbar with the 2 surround speakers.

I got the walmart onn atmos 5.1.2 soundbar for $200. Don’t know/care about specs or how it compares to the $500+ setups that are popular here, all i know is that the in store demo sounded amazing and so I bought it.

Look at the Onn 5.1.2 Atmos soundbar with wireless rear spekers for $199.99, can't beat that deal, they're very nice and sound pretty decent for the price.

It totally depends on the soundbar. I am still impressed with the Vizio 5.1 system’s ability to produce a really nice sounding virtual atmos experience. I also have a Polk Mini ax and in my opinion it doesn’t compare to the Vizio. I also have a Vizio 5.1.2 system and I’ll still stand by that system as THE top of the line budget system. Saying all of that I’ll conclude by saying, none of those systems match my Sony HT-A9, but I wouldn’t expect them to. I had an LG SP7Y and took it back within hours of purchase. It soured me on LG soundbars quickly. Also, if you’re looking for a budget system, don’t count out ONN’s 5.1 or 5.1.2. They both are surprisingly good.

I have an ultimea x70 which sounds great and for the price i think it's a steal. And otw is the new x100 dual by ultimea and im expecting that 1 to be soo much more than the x70 I am already happy with. I've had the vizio elevate se which was decent and even tried walmarts onn 5.1.2 which for 200 bucks isn't that bad tbh.

r/SoundbarsOnn. 5.1.2 Soundbar from Walmart

I found a $350 deal on Samsung Q Series HW-Q600C 360W 5.1.2-Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar System with rear speakers and returned the Walmart Onn system. The new speakers have so much more voice clarity, but might not feel the room as much. The Onn had an amazing bass and really filled the room, but the cloudy center/voice channel was so muddy it was a world of difference for about $150 more.
