Never the Polk. The Magnifi Max was the worst soundbar I ever owned. Sound was meh, customer service was worse. It even managed to brick after an update. $700 e-waste. Iām still bitter as you can tell.
r/Soundbars ā¢ Best soundbar for this space? ->I second this recommendation. I don't see it suggested terribly often, but I have had the Polk Magnifi Max for about a year and a half and it has performed really well paired with my Sony Bravia TV. It sounds great with music, too.
r/Soundbars ā¢ Getting Discouraged ->Q990D does not compete with Polks in terms of quality of sound they have good surround but when sound becomes too busy they are not pleasing. On other hand polk is clean and crisp no matter what you play.
