Just got mine today and it sounds awesome. Literally plugged it in to my 55” Samsung smart tv and it linked everything immediately. No apps no nonsense. Plug and play. 229$ at Costco. Used HDMI ACR
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->I purchased this a month ago. I’m not sure if it’s defective but the sound is not great. I’ll be returning it. My LG TV sounds better. I hooked it up to my phone via BT to play some music to confirm sound quality. My Echo dot has better quality than the sound bar.
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->took your word and Samsung confirmed it: [https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/home-theater/subwoofers-and-speaker-kits/swa-9200s-wireless-rear-speaker-kits-swa-9200s-za/](https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/home-theater/subwoofers-and-speaker-kits/swa-9200s-wireless-rear-speaker-kits-swa-9200s-za/) Ordered both: 1. Soundbar (Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA ) [https://www.costco.com/samsung-hw-b73cdza-5.1-channel-soundbar-with-dts-virtual%3ax-and-wireless-subwoofer.product.4000280108.html](https://www.costco.com/samsung-hw-b73cdza-5.1-channel-soundbar-with-dts-virtual%3ax-and-wireless-subwoofer.product.4000280108.html) 2. Samsung SWA-9200S # [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B46LKCV7/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o00\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B46LKCV7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) i just tried to go cheap with the HW-R650 and the SWA-8500S. The HW-R650 has some odd subwoofer level issues, tried two different ones... failed.
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->What is the budget? Location? If you have access to a Costco they have the Samsung HW-B73CD for $229 and it punches WAY above that price. I was impressed as I got it for my garage tv and it's great. Way better then I expected. Same as the B750 that rtngs just reviewed.
r/Soundbars • Best Budget Soundbar ->Just bought from Costco, and I can't pair with the TV via Bluetooth. Event the Samsung support team couldn't understand,. They suggested last option to try to update the Firmware via usb, but as you mentioned, I can't find this model in the Samsung web site. Had anyone encounter this problem?
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->After calling them and telling that FW for that model is not available in their web sitr, they just put it in the web while I was still on phone with them. Though it didn't work as well. Other option was to update FW via Smart things, and later calling to SmartThings support group, it was found out that that specific model is not compatible with SmarthThings. It seems like this model is not compatible with many things. So I am planning to return it to costco, and get another model from another store.
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->Just bought this and it’s amazing sound quality
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->Bought this for my bedroom and its great. Initially purchased the sony soundbar/sub they had on sale but returned it for this. Much better!
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->I just purchased this soundbar (currently on sale!) from [Costco.com](http://Costco.com) & had the same question. As far as I can tell, this is the equivalent from the Samsung model line up: [**B-series 5.1ch. DTS Virtual:X Soundbar / HW-B73MD**](https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/home-theater/sound-bars/b-series-5-1ch-dts-virtual-x-soundbar-hw-b73md-hw-b73md-za/) I downloaded [the manual from that product page](http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=US&CttFileID=9756718&CDCttType=UM&ModelType=C&ModelName=HW-B73MD/ZA&VPath=UM/202406/20240626034600001/HW-B73MD_ZA_WUG_01_240619.0.pdf), & it seems to match up with the Costco model as well. u/decryption5 u/Caviar312 - I've only been using it for an hour, but sounds great so far. I also purchased the [Samsung SWA-9200S 2.0Ch Wireless Rear Surround Sound Speakers (2022)](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B46LKCV7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) - the only gripe I have is that I don't see a way to configure the surround sound to put dialog through the rear speakers (my old Vizio V51-J6 system had a "surround sound: dual" setting that mirrored the front audio through the rear speakers)
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->That sounds like a problem to me - the LED panel on the right-hand side of mine came on as soon as I plugged it in
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->u/Puzzle_headed_ \- thanks for the suggestion, but my issue isn't that the rear speakers aren't producing sound, it's that they can't be configured to "mirror" the sound output from the front speakers. I have the "adaptive" mode turned on, which actually does mirror the sound to the rear speakers when the audio input is only 2 channels - if it's 5.1 channels, then there's no way to mirror the front output to the rear (at least AFAIK) Since modern movies & TV shows (streamed through platforms such as Netflix) tend to have 5.1 channel audio, the sound that comes through the rear speakers is only the "surround"/"ambient" sound & rarely includes dialog. This means that I have to turn up the volume in most cases so that I can hear voices clearly. My complaint is that the soundbar should have a "settings" option to mirror the front audio through the rear speakers instead of just doing it when the input is 2 channels
r/Soundbars • Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA 5.1 ->If you already have a Samsung TV, the addition of Q-Symphony might make it worth leaning that way. I personally just got a Samsung HW-Q600C, w/ the SWA-9200s rears. Spent only ~$394, due to BF/CM sales (retail for the whole package is around ~$750). I’m pretty happy with it, although I can’t say I’d necessarily recommend it yet, as I and another Reddit commenter on this sub recently found a weird design flaw where one of the speakers is missing… That said, for my (fairly small) apartment home theater setup, the sound quality is AMAZING, and the speaker thing is only noticeable when you literally go looking for it, so if you happen to find a deal like mine, I’d absolutely say snag it (make *sure* you get the rears as well though). Otherwise, I’d say wait for a deal on one of the Q9xx models, as others are saying - they’ll come with the rears included, and the higher-quality up-firing speakers will give Atmos a *significant* boost.
r/Soundbars • What's the best soundbar with subwoofer right now for $800 USD or less? I don't need rear speakers, but am not opposed to them. Atmos up-firing support would be nice, but not required. Main use is watching shows/movies, with occasional music listening. Normal suburban livingroom size/shape/materials ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
