Samsung - HW-B650

Frankly at this price point, if you for mivi, govo, Zebronics, boad you will get the ugly base + muffled sound.. so basically you will just increase the volume with no real benefit in clarity.... All you can do is choose few audio or videos that you feel has issue, e.g..i tried Dune 1 or 2 trailers... They have loud music and the vocals are hardly audible in the BGM.. Go to some showrooms and ask them to play these are 50% volume and stand at 8-10 feet and try to listen.. whatever you feel good get that... One recommendation is samsung b650d/xl it's 3.1 and available in Amazon for ₹12,950 with card discount...or JBL cinema series..

we’ve just recently bought the b750d for our samsung tv. sounds amazing but doesn’t have q symphony and i honestly don’t think it’s necessary. comes with a sub too for added bass, and it’s almost completely wireless as the soundbar has wires and the sub just has one power cord and connects to the bar via bluetooth. might be worth looking into. it may not be the best, but it was an affordable option (£270) and we’re happy with it as it’s better than my previous sony soundbar which made no difference (despite only being £20 cheaper, it also didn’t have a sub). i normally only have it on 10 when watching something as the sound is so crisp and beautiful and what with all the different modes you’re sure to find something which suits you. also, the b650d is very similar with slightly less audio channels but still a good option imo.

Got my first sound bar (Samsung hw-b650) on discount from 400 down to around 180 (discounted to 189.99 and had an open box excellent for 162) just gotta wait to get home from traveling for Christmas to bust it open! (New to home theater equipment and didn’t have the budget for a mid range to high range sound equipment so don’t be too harsh)

I just got the Samsung HW-B650 a few weeks ago and I have absolutely no complaints. Comes with a subwoofer and got it on sale at Best Buy for 230. Doesn’t sound tinny at all to me and you can very easily adjust the tone and sound modes.

I’ve probably watched about 3 different Star Wars movies that have Dolby audio and haven’t had any issues. Sounds fantastic in my opinion, especially for the price.

I purchased the Samsung HWB650 with sub a few weeks ago. I thought the sound was Ok, although not blown away….the sub sounds great, though. I found a Bose Ultra on sale and with other discounts I ordered for $650 It arrives tomorrow. Hoping it gives me the immersive sound I was hoping to get out of the Samsung 650- If I like the Bose sound, I will also get the 700 Subwoofer. I’m putting the 650 in my basement and adding to my treadmill TV

If your environment allows for rear speakers, then go for B650F. Samsung is the only manufacturer that supports affordable surround expansion kit for even their budget soundbar's. SW-9250s is compatible with B640F and it is less than $150. If you get B650F and get 9250 later it will be great for surround sounds.

Hey there! I’m looking for soundbar recommendations. I’ve been looking to upgrade to a soundbar for a while and I have a budget. I’m definitely an audiophile, so I would like to have one with a great bass, a dedicated subwoofer and some type of surround sound (whether integrated into the soundbar or as seperate speakers) Also if possible I’d prefer one that has both HDMI eARC AND Optical Audio input, as I’d like to be able to use it with both my TV and a record player that I plan to get! Figured I’d be better off asking people with personal experience than reading store listings lol. EDIT: thanks everyone! ultimately i decided to go with a samsung b650 on sale for $190 from best buy and will later buy the wireless rear speakers separately. i’m very very happy with it so far!

I bought the samsung B650 and its a huge huge upgrade. I would suggest that the Bass is decent. Its a 3.1 channel bar with separate speaker for vocals. I got it for 82k 6 months back. You can check out the current prices. It has HDMI Arc but not eArc

I would take a look at Woot, they have a Samsung B650D sound bar for $200. The reason I recommend it is because it’s a 3.1 soundbar with an external subwoofer. Which means you’ll get good center channel audio which is good for vocals, but the subwoofer is external which makes for better bass. It’s the best of both worlds.
