I went with the same model in Amazon sale. Was confused between this, ht s2000 and sb590 - all around similar price.

If you wanna spend in the $250 to $300 range you cant go wrong with the Samsung B750D or the B750F. They both have bass boost and the B750F has Q-symphony. I have the B750D in my bedroom. I absolutely love the sound. I bought a B750F off Ebay last week for my 75' Samsung in my Livingroom for $250. I'm not disappointed in my purchase at all.

I had this same experience. Then I gave my B650 to one of my sons and bought the B750D. It has bass boost. The bass won't disappoint. I bought a B750F for my living room last week. That one is the same as the B750D but it has Q-symphony.

Yes the F is better. I bought my rear speakers on Ebay last week. I saw them on Amazon also.

I went with the Samsung B750d, it was on sale 400$ cad vs 600$ and came with a subwoofer. There was another one i was looking at in the 200$ cad range, I think it's the Samsung B550F, comes also with a woofer and sounded nicely too.

They have the hwb750d on sale 50% off for around $250 right now. Amazing 5.1 soundbar with sub if you arent looking to spend a ton.

I bought one of these recently and I'm happy with it. It had the best score on Rtings within my budget (7.5 for mixed usage). I don't care about Atmos, though, so if that's important to you then it may not be the best choice. I also didn't care about not being able to control it with an app. What sound mode are you using? I tend to stick to Surround with the sub at -6 (I'm not that into bass I guess) and the centre channel at +2. Content also matters. It sounds much better with a Dolby Digital signal, but the stereo upmixing is surprisingly good.

I have a ten year old Yamaha ATS 1050 soundbar that I just upgraded to the Samsung HW-B750D. The Samsung has a separate Woofer, is ten years newer, and does sound a bit better but not by nearly as much as I thought it might. They are actually pretty comparable. That said, settings do make a difference and not just in the soundbar. Enabling things like pass through on the Apple TV input helped so check your TV audio settings too.

I just picked up a “Like New” Samsung HW-B750 from Amazon for $199 USD.

If you can do without the Dolby Atmos, just get yourself a somewhat entry level Samsung, [Samsung HW-B750](https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-HW-B750D-ZA-Soundbar-Expansion/dp/B0CTKTRYX7?th=1) This really does punch above its weight, I think I have a 730 C? That is more than enough to change how you hear TV content. I did have a 9 series Samsung and that was immersive, huge sound. Samsung do make some of the best soundbars around, 7 series is what I would be looking at and fits your budget.

The first reason was definitely the budget. The second was that the Dolby Atmos bounce technology in the Q600F is quite technical and requires precise placement (such as the height of the ceiling) to deliver the best experience. On the other hand, the B750 offers a wider stereo soundstage, is louder, has clean setup and works well in all scenarios—whether it’s parties, music, or movies. So, considering the placement issue, budget factor, and my preference for a wider soundstage, the B750 was the perfect pick for me.
