I work at a large retail electronics store and have the q700a with the swa-9500 rears, it’s super solid for the money and the cost for the new year equivalent is super reasonable. There is definitely a beauty in a macked out Sonos system, or like a Kef component setup, but you can still have a very enjoyable system for way less
r/Soundbars • This sub recently ->Had the same thoughts with my old Samsung q700a as well. The sub on the rare occasion that it actually connected and worked was distinctly underwhelming. Also if you do invest in a new TV in the future dont buy into Q-Symphony, its a marketing gimmick 👍
r/Soundbars • Just bought a Samsung q930d. I'm underwhelmed by the sound. ->To give you context I actually purchased a Samsung Neo QLed 55" along with a Samsung soundbar (q700a) specifically with Q Symphony in mind. However sound quality was a major let down. For a while I debated changing up to a 900 series but after experiencing constant disconnection issues with the q700a subwoofer I bit the bullet before Christmas and purchased a Sonos Arc Ultra. I'll just say this, a totally different aural experience......... Anyway the Samsung TV screen itself is very good with excellent brightness which was pretty important as my living room is very bright. Not entirely sold on Samsung anti reflection claims but its far better than my previous LG model 👍
r/Soundbars • Just bought a Samsung q930d. I'm underwhelmed by the sound. ->Brand does not matter a lot if you don't want to use brand specific features (e.g. Samsung's Q-Symphony or Wireless Atmos - I don't know about features like this from TCL). HDMI-CEC supports power and volume controls, and changing source to the TV. I have a Samsung Q800D and it's amazing but it costs around $500. You should check out the Q700 series as those are cheaper but has good score on Rtings.
r/tcltvs • Best sound bar for TCL QM7 75” ->You could get samsung q700 series, I got one for my parents its decent. Also search on amazon under you budget and compare them in Rtings.
r/Soundbars • Diwali coming up, thinking of splurging on a soundbar setup ->Get the Sonos system. Samsung is terrible at support. Further you can buy the Sonos components from Costco. At least most of them. Return policy is quite generous as you probably know. Don’t be tempted by the Samsung pricing. It’s just not as good or reliable as the Sonos systems. He’ll even the JBL soundbar systems have better sound than the Q series.
r/Soundbars • I want a Sonos but should I just get the Samsung Q990D/F? ->Grab a samsung 3.1.2 there around 300$ open box Canadian usa prob like 199$ I forget the model
r/Soundbars • Upgrading Samsung HW-K450-R 2.1 Channel Sound bar - what should I get? ->I’ve had the sennheiser ambeo, Bose smart ultra, and the Samsung q800, in that order. First two were returned for connectivity issues with my newish Samsung tv. The q800 has been great (the ambeo probably had the best surround but only if it connected). Q symphony is amazing. With the first two bars, you could clearly tell the sound was coming from below the TV… q symphony fixes that completely. And the subwoofer is amazing.
r/Soundbars • Has Bose lost its crown? ->Don't buy a soundbar just because it's the same brand as the TV, I tried Samsung's Q-symphony and it's ass. I also switched to a Sony TV while keeping the Samsung soundbar.
r/Soundbars • Soundbar Decision: Sonos Arc Ultra VS LG S95TR ->I found that Q-Symphony adds a nice touch of fill-in to the front soundstage. Not life changing, but definitely worth it.
r/Soundbars • Q990D or Q800D? (I have no space for rear speakers) ->Yes can, i know people with have the same situation and have All In One soundbar, which is not probably the best from Samsung, but working good. Samsung Q-Symphony on TV working in this perfect too. Sound can be around you, effect is amazing. Just add soundbar from TV about 1 metre distance and have to be cool effect with specific material of video. Humans which have this situation have smaller room than 12 squares metres. You probably will be need better soundbar as S class 60 models.
r/Soundbars • Can a soundbar with speakers work in a small living room? ->If you get a Samsung soundbar with Q Symphony that will add an extra dimension to your system that you won't get if you choose another brand
r/Soundbars • A Best Buy employee recommended the Sony S400. They didn’t mention the Samsung one and I already bought the Sony. Is it a big difference? ->If you have a samsung tv or plan on getting one go with the samsung. Q Symphony is dope
r/Soundbars • Should I go with the JBL or the Samsung? ->FYI, I already had the Samsung soundbar when TV shopping. I thought it would be kool to have the Samsung TV to use with the Samsung soundbar- Q Symphony, but in the end it wasnt enough for me to not get the G4.
r/LGOLED • What is the best soundbar for LG G4? I think of S80TR, is it good? Also will there be a real difference compared to inbuilt speakers ? Thanks! ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
