Between the theatre 6 and q800f, it's a no-brainer to go with the q800f. Between the Q800f and juke bar, I wouldn't really know but considering the juke bar has no brand recognition worldwide. I would go with the q800f.

True, u can buy the rears separately for the q800f(swa-9500s), but availability and price might be a problem. Im sure tho the q800f does have the best audio quality between those. If u on a budget and want the full set, try looking into the Hisense 5.1.4 soundbar

Between those I would go with the q800f, even tho the rears are not available. Tho u can order than from amazon US, not sure how much import charges are in India but if its not bad u can buy it in the future. Atm they are 207 dollars(great deal rn.) They also dont sell it in my country so I had to get them from amazon us(waiting on them now).

Q800D, only benefit to the q800f is that it supports eclipsa audio and has a smaller sub(which isn't as good as the q800d's at higher volumes). Basically u should just get the cheaper one.

I was also looking to get one, and going with 600F, getting it for 23K INR owing to Corporate discounts, Personal reasons why I am going for 600F over 800F 1. 23K vs 38K INR - Corporate Pricing. 2. will need to connect to Gaming Console to Soundbar / TV anyway, so can't really use the wireless connection for Dolby Atmos on the 800F, TV pairing will be the 2025 Samsung Neo QLED. 3. My living room size is almost 270 sq ft. and I believe 380W will be ample on 600F. 4. Viewing distance is also 6-8 ft, so I am ok without the side speakers on 800F. 5. Not much of an audiophile, can do without that engulfing effect of the side speakers. I think the sole reason to go for 800F will be the following; 1. If you need to be in an omnidirectional sound aura. 2. Lower frequency response will be better on 800F, the subwoofer weighs 7Kgs on the 800F vs 5Kgs on the 600F, so I believe the "thump" will be way better on 800F, dense packaging. 3. If you just have a TV and Soundbar, no external devices (console etc.), then no fuss of running HDMIs, a clutter free setup.

Afaik q600c has a sub as well. Idk the pricing where you live, but personally I got Q800F for 400€ - seems to be more or less at your desired price point and better than q600c

I am in the same environment...I have an open living room that wasn't really conducive to rear speakers. I could do it but it would mean running wires through some open areas...and having to cover with conduit. With a 6-year old and 9-year old in the house...that was a disaster waiting to happen...injury or damage:) Over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I purchased a Samsung Q-800F. Admittedly, it exceeded my expectations and was superior to the older Polk Magnify Max it replaced (failed after a lightning strike sent EMP through the house). I liked it so much I decided to try a refurbished Q-900F (Q-990F w/o rear speakers). It sounds even better. I returned the Q-800F...but it still sounded great for general use. Both systems have good bass (the 900F better because it has two 8" active woofers vs. the 800F single 6.5" woofer and passive 8" radiator). Bass is nice and clean and doesn't overpower dialogue.

r/SoundbarsDemo'ed q990f q990d and q930f - question
about 1 month ago

I've been impressed with my 900F...compared to a 800F. My living room wasn't the most conducive to rear speakers, unfortunately...especially wired (power) ones. I've had past systems with large 10" - 12" woofers and ported enclosures. Bass was loud, but usually not crisp/clean, and usually drowned out the center channel...especially dialogue. I found both the 800F and 900F to be a pleasant surprise. The compact enclosure is convenient but both (6.6" + radiator and 2 x 8", respectively) sounded good..and felt matched to the soundbar in terms of clarity and volume. the compact enclosure looks to be a bonus over the D series. I opted to keep the 900F, of course (noticeably better in all areas), but the 800F definitely sounded good.

r/SoundbarsSamsung Q990F vs JBL Bar 1300 MK2

I assume you aren't in the US...those aren't US prices for sure:) Anyways, I was in the same predicament as you are. I opted for the Q900F (Q990F without satellite speakers). I've had satellite speakers in the past and they didn't wow me...kind like when there was the 3D TV fad:) I also have a family...the surround speakers would be great for anyone sitting on the couch...but don't help those in a recliner, love seat, or elsewhere. Granted, I'm sure surrounds have come a long way...maybe they do add a lot of effect. I believe the 990F require an outlet...I wasn't going to run long power cords to them. the JBL's are detachable...not sure how long the batteries last. I would probably end up getting lazy and not detaching/attaching them all the time:) Granted, if I had the money, I still wouldn't mind the option and would've got the 990F. I originally got a Q800F. It sounded quite good...to the point I decided to try a refurbished (though it arrived looking brand new) Q900F. It was bigger in every way...dimensions and sound. The 1300MK2 was also a consideration...but cost more. Because my TV only has (3) HDMI ports and I'm using (2) (eARC and input from a 5-HDMI port switch), the 1300MK2 is nice because it has (3) HDMI inputs. The Samsung only has (2). If you are going to use them I believe the JBL allows full passthrough including DV (I could be wrong...it may be the 1300X that doest that). I'm not sure about the Samsung. I'm sure bass is a consideration too. the Q800F was actually good, but the Q900F is better. I suspect the 1300 is even better still. However, the Samsung Q900/990F subwoofer is nice and compact...it actually fits in the bottom corner of my TV stand...It isn't a big rectangle block sitting off to the side like I/we have been used to. The two 8" drivers faced outward on the sides....unfortunately without grills though (I would've preferred protection). I assume the JBL uses a standard configuration with a port somewhere and the large driver on the bottom. Both are the top-end options in the soundbar segment.

Q800F fits your bill. Just listened to it last week in our testing room, and it's surprisingly powerful for a standalone bar + sub. You could also go with a soundbar with satellites and use them in the frontal configuration (picture attached). Happy hunting. https://preview.redd.it/hsdaoqho04rf1.png?width=371&format=png&auto=webp&s=4b880f09d4dda34638587126ae1ff88d9335632d

Sub is definitely not better. That new subwoofer is a major downgrade from the previous subwoofer. I've had both the Q800B & the S800B. The 800F is the same subwoofer as the S800B (6.5" driver + 8" radiator) & that subwoofer doesn't come remotely close to the 800B subwoofer.

Tbh I don't understand what Samsung was thinking when designing the 800F. They could've some something else easily. Simply putting a sub from a different bar series (the 800F sub is the S800x sub.) is such lazy designing it's actually sad (and even sadder considering the sub actually ended up being a downgrade). I tell everyone to get the 800D instead if possible. I'm not sure what would've been a good design that doesn't leave too little "upgrade space" between the 800 & 900. Maybe either a ported design for the 900 & a sealed for 800's. Hell I don't even understand how people truly say the 990F sub is more compact from what I'm seeing but idk. I'm hoping these new MK2 subwoofers have been upgraded. Not that they're not loud enough but the sub just didn't sound very clean & had an overly strong mid bass sound to the sub. But these new subs look like another design and tuning design so hopefully they improved it this time. I'm waiting for rTings to release test results before making my decision on what's next.

Like why would you change to the slim series subwoofer for a non slim soundbar?? Lazy designing update decision.

r/SoundbarsAnyone own the Samsung Q600F? Need your thoughts!

If you want sub 40hz bass, don't get the 600F. Try to find a Q800D (NOT 800F). I say the 800D cause they changed the subwoofer on the 800F and honestly downgraded it. The new subwoofer is the sub from their slim soundbar series. I've had the S800B (slim soundbar) & the Q800B and the Q800B subwoofer was without question the better subwoofer by far. The 800F subwoofer will still sound alright, it just won't play as deep or as loud.
