Sound bars have their place. Typically a small apartment. I have a Samsung Q 800 it’s quite good. Would it be better with individual speaker of course but for my use case I prefer this. It’s cleaner looking and it works well.
r/BudgetAudiophile • Friend was gonna buy a brand new sound bar. I said nope. ->I find my samsung Q800 looks alright. It blends in fairly well on my tv stand. Everyone has been impressed with it so far.
r/BudgetAudiophile • Friend was gonna buy a brand new sound bar. I said nope. ->I find the cheap Samsung or the slim ones sound rough that’s why I called out the specific one I have. You have tried the Q800 or Q910/990 series? I used to have a Vizio that also sounded solid for what it was but the Samsung Q800 is far better. I went to a large audio shop and I wanted a soundbar for a variety of personal reasons and it was the best one that I could find.
r/BudgetAudiophile • Friend was gonna buy a brand new sound bar. I said nope. ->Ya I went from a JBL 2.1 soundbar that maybe cost me $300 in 2019, to the Q800 it there was little to no difference. Some movies even sounded worse especially with voices or dialogue. Luckily I got it on sale but the normal price of these Samsung set ups for the quality is insane. Just get a decent speaker and avr set up for that.
r/BudgetAudiophile • Friend was gonna buy a brand new sound bar. I said nope. ->Q800d/f is your best option. Slightly over your budget but worth it. I have bought 800d and q930f and both were excellent for movies.
r/Soundbars • Recommendations of a sound bar with Dolby Atmos and HDMI out. ->Soundbars (high tier) nowadays are very good. Although. But if you really appreciate surround sound and/or music I would recommend at least a 3.1 system+AVR instead. I was never pleased with my Samsung Q800 soundbar, so I went back to regular speakers again and couldn't be happier.
r/LGOLED • I need suggestions with soundbars ->Q800 and Q990 are both the absolute best price/perf in their respective categories. Are they the best thing singe bread came sliced? No. Are they the best package you can buy in their price ranges? Absolutely.
r/Soundbars • Is the Samsung HW-Q990F/D/C that good or it's just a "Reddit" hype thing? ->go for jbl bar 800 or samsung q800/930, jbl have excellent bass while samsung have excellent clarity
r/Soundbars • Soundbar recommendations ->Get at least. 3.1 bar. I like the Samsung q600f for it's value. It's enough. It's good. It's a hell of a lot better than the tv speakers. Something like the q000f will blow you away without being too bulky. But it's double. Split the difference with the q800. I quite like the Samsung bars. Sony's good but expensive and piecemail. I don't really like their sub and bar combo ones. Some with sonos or bose. Nice but expensive and piecemail. TCL and Hisense have stuff but I've never heard it. But also haven't heard discussion about it. I like JBL. But their bars are just too bass heavy and the mids aren't great. Lg's not bad either. But Samsung is my choice
r/Soundbars • best soundbar ->Between the theatre 6 and q800f, it's a no-brainer to go with the q800f. Between the Q800f and juke bar, I wouldn't really know but considering the juke bar has no brand recognition worldwide. I would go with the q800f.
r/Soundbars • Samsung q800f v/s zeb juke bar 10000 v/s Sony bravia theatre 6 ->True, u can buy the rears separately for the q800f(swa-9500s), but availability and price might be a problem. Im sure tho the q800f does have the best audio quality between those. If u on a budget and want the full set, try looking into the Hisense 5.1.4 soundbar
r/Soundbars • Samsung q800f v/s zeb juke bar 10000 v/s Sony bravia theatre 6 ->Between those I would go with the q800f, even tho the rears are not available. Tho u can order than from amazon US, not sure how much import charges are in India but if its not bad u can buy it in the future. Atm they are 207 dollars(great deal rn.) They also dont sell it in my country so I had to get them from amazon us(waiting on them now).
r/Soundbars • Samsung q800f v/s zeb juke bar 10000 v/s Sony bravia theatre 6 ->I would go with the q930f. https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/tools/compare/lg-s95tr-vs-samsung-hw-q930d/49693/56615?threshold=0.01
r/Soundbars • Samsung q800f v/s zeb juke bar 10000 v/s Sony bravia theatre 6 ->Q800D, only benefit to the q800f is that it supports eclipsa audio and has a smaller sub(which isn't as good as the q800d's at higher volumes). Basically u should just get the cheaper one.
r/Soundbars • HW-q800d vs HW-q800f ->I’ve had the sennheiser ambeo, Bose smart ultra, and the Samsung q800, in that order. First two were returned for connectivity issues with my newish Samsung tv. The q800 has been great (the ambeo probably had the best surround but only if it connected). Q symphony is amazing. With the first two bars, you could clearly tell the sound was coming from below the TV… q symphony fixes that completely. And the subwoofer is amazing.

r/Soundbars • Has Bose lost its crown? ->I was also looking to get one, and going with 600F, getting it for 23K INR owing to Corporate discounts, Personal reasons why I am going for 600F over 800F 1. 23K vs 38K INR - Corporate Pricing. 2. will need to connect to Gaming Console to Soundbar / TV anyway, so can't really use the wireless connection for Dolby Atmos on the 800F, TV pairing will be the 2025 Samsung Neo QLED. 3. My living room size is almost 270 sq ft. and I believe 380W will be ample on 600F. 4. Viewing distance is also 6-8 ft, so I am ok without the side speakers on 800F. 5. Not much of an audiophile, can do without that engulfing effect of the side speakers. I think the sole reason to go for 800F will be the following; 1. If you need to be in an omnidirectional sound aura. 2. Lower frequency response will be better on 800F, the subwoofer weighs 7Kgs on the 800F vs 5Kgs on the 600F, so I believe the "thump" will be way better on 800F, dense packaging. 3. If you just have a TV and Soundbar, no external devices (console etc.), then no fuss of running HDMIs, a clutter free setup.
