Using the rears as fronts, vastly improves music quality. But if u only want a standalone, maybe look to sonos arc ultra, if thats too much the q900 would be great as well, even the q800.
FightOnForUscI have a Samsung Q900c with the 9500s rear speakers. So basically a 990c but with only rear and up firing speakers, no rear side firing speakers. But I got the 900c for $499 and the rears for $121. So the whole package for $620 couldn’t really be beaten in terms of value to me. Rear side firing speakers weren’t worth the extra couple hundred the 990c would have cost

graisonQ900c does not have rear speakers, but you can add that later if your situation changes. Sonos arc ultra is another possibility.

siopao888Im also from canada. I returned the arc and got samsung. Its so much user friendly and it has the surrounds and sub. For the arc you have to spend so much if you want to complete the setup (surrounds and sub)
