I'd say so, it's almost half off or is yeah? that's about the same as you'd get with an EPP discount, though the EPP ones would be brand new, but the most you'd expect to see on an open box product defect wise is like surface scratches on the bottom of the units from moving them around, stuff like that. just take a good look @ it when you take it out of the box, if there's anything you can't absolutely live with, return it. I've done this with multiple soundbar openboxes from BestBuy before I found my 990b deal. I myself bought the 990b from some crackheads off FB marketplace near me, it needed a wipe down, and the back right surround speaker looks like it was dropped bc the back corner is just very slightly split, but for 350 bucks it's been an insane upgrade from the old Samsung 2.1 bar I bought in 2015 during Black Friday for 100

It's one of the best out there. I have the 990B as and it is an excellent unit. You will not be disappointed.

Samsung q990b , it’s awesome with zero issues

Samsung Q990b I got from FB marketplace a couple years ago. I am beyond happy with it. 10/10.

Q990b, and Q990f. I think tuning them to your needs is important. They sound amazing playing music in my setup.

I’ve got to second this, I’ve also got the 990b, the sub is insane and with all the channels installed at the right height and calibrated, barely listen to it above volume level 12.
