I have the S60B and S61B for reference. It's been solid, other than the fact that I wish it had a display on it. All prompts are voice-based; (e.g. mode switching). Even a tiny screen would have been nice to have.

Is the reason you're not wanting a subwoofer because of sharing a wall? I have the Samsung S60B, I definitely recommend it for it having so many drivers and you can give it a little extra bass if you like or tone it down entirely. The vocal clarity is also extraordinary.

There are 2 ways to go here, depends on your priorities on which you end up choosing. Don't go for an dollby atmos system, if music listening is what you are after, stick to a 2.1 system and or a soundbar, 2.1, 3.1 or 5.1 path 1: Out of everything that you have listed, I have heard the Sony, would be my pick, haven't heard the LG, but if it is anywhere near the combination of LG SC9S with a spk8 and or if you can demo it, I'd say go for it because the combo I mentioned sounded pretty nice, but for the slightly high treble, which can be adjusted through the remote, and might be even better than the sony. The samsung 600B is nice, but it kinda messes up the sound when the volume is maxed, which in my books even though you won't be running it at max most of the time is a minus. The Sony S40R by far is the nicest sounding of them all barring the lg(haven't listened to it) the only slight issue is it needs wireing for the rears? if I remember correctly, and the fact that it has only 1 hdmi port, okay if you plan on attaching it to a smart TV, not so much when you have a firestick and a bunch of other things. in terms of sound and music listening specificly, it's quite good. If you can strech your budget a bit more, and don't mind wires, try getting either the sony 500RF or 700RF 700 is significantly more than your budget, but sounds as much good for that price. path 2: If you are willing to forgo certain newer tech such as blutooth, hdmi etc, the logitech z906 will shake your world and windos in your budget and would give you the sound to jump for in or around 30k. TLDR: listen to the lg, sony is best among all those, no experience with Zebronics, for the odball but best sound? logitech z906. Hope that helps some

Samsung makes quality soundbars. You can’t go wrong with any one you choose. It comes down to cost, features, and your expectations. Bigger doesn’t always mean better and subwoofer performance is more a function of its placement and room dynamics than its size. Things like Atmos support are great but only important if you care about Atmos playback. Most important are build and sound quality, stable firmware, key basic features like ARC/eARC support, AirPlay 2 support, Bluetooth support, and a footprint that fits your room. Samsung has all of these and though they had a recent firmware issue it was with the Q990 line and has been resolved. I have the smaller Samsung S60 with its designated subwoofer (SWA-510) in my bedroom. It sounds awesome and has many bells and whistles like Atmos support, etc but it’s perfect for my bedroom. In my living room, I have a full Denon Home 5.1 setup - 550 Soundbar, 150’s Surrounds, Subwoofer - which has more features and better sound than the S60 but I want that for my living room and invested the extra money accordingly.

Don't buy a soundbar just because it's the same brand as the TV, I tried Samsung's Q-symphony and it's ass. I also switched to a Sony TV while keeping the Samsung soundbar.

I found that Q-Symphony adds a nice touch of fill-in to the front soundstage. Not life changing, but definitely worth it.

The Samsung tv will help with center channel with the Q symphony I believe. Prob will not notice much if at all. Samsung as others had said is def a far better bang for your buck. I don’t consider myself an audio expect but I had what I thought was a nice lg 5.1.2 soundbar and the Samsung blows it away. Voice clarity is what shocked me the most. All ranges of sounds are more defined and crisp even when only steaming. 4k Blu-ray Discs up the level another few notches. There are a bunch of posts on this subreddit explaining how to save a bunch of money ordering some Samsung directly if you choose to go with that soundbar
