Not buying samsung soundbar ever again. My 4 year old q70 just died. It lived a very easy life as well. We never turn up the volume that high either.
It looks like you don't mind features and specs more than price. In such case, almost any soundbar will suffice. Have you tried eBay? From what I've seen here, Samsung is the preferred brand, but recently they bricked many bars with a failed firmware update. Sonos is also a popular brand online. I almost never see LG, Bosé or JBL being mentioned by users. I own: - Klipsch Flexus 5.3.2 and - Samsung q70r (2020) + 9200s Surrounds 5.1.2 I'm happy with both bars. You'll have a hard time finding the Klipsch Flexus second hand because it's fairly new model though. But still, I can recommend any of these two if you can find them second hand.
#I agree the Flexus sounds great. For reference, I own: - 5.3.2 Flexus system - 5.1.2 Samsung Q70R + 9200s I haven't experienced the 990D though. The Flexus only has two modes "Music" & "Movie". Supports Dolby Atmos and support up to 3 Subs for a 5.4.2 system. I recommend it.
Get the Sonos system. Samsung is terrible at support. Further you can buy the Sonos components from Costco. At least most of them. Return policy is quite generous as you probably know. Don’t be tempted by the Samsung pricing. It’s just not as good or reliable as the Sonos systems. He’ll even the JBL soundbar systems have better sound than the Q series.
