I went with q600b as I got it at a very good deal of Rs13k in a repackaged sale. I haven't been able to use it much yet, only played some music and atmos testing video during installation. Overall the soundbar felt decent, top firing speakers weren't that noticeable though. I had a plan to add rear speakers but Samsung doesn't sell these in India, I will try to import in the future as it will upgrade my system to a 5.2.1 surround. For now, I have paired them via Q Symphony with my S90D TV(recently purchased). I will update you after watching content that supports Atmos. You may also go for a 5.1 instead of taking 3.2.1 if you want a better surround system out of the box.
r/Soundbars • Samsung Soundbar Dilemma: Q600B vs. B67E – Need Your Advice! ->Soundbar samsung q600b e comprei as caixas traseiras 9200. Acho que elas dão um som muito baixo em relação à soundbar. Já pus em +6. Alguma dica de calibração que me possa a ajudar?
r/Soundbars • Tip for Samsung Q600C Owners: BUY the Rear Speakers!!! ->I have the HW-Q600B with the added SWA-9200 rears. I love it and search for Atmos mixes whenever possible. I just not so sure most movies utilize the up-firing speakers in their mix very often. It’s really not the soundbars fault in those cases but I love that I have them for the times they do. My next one will probably be the new 990F, I hope. I’ll just move this one to my living room.
r/Soundbars • Are up-firing speakers in soundbars a gimmick? (Or Samsung HW-Q60C vs HW-Q600B) ->It’s not so much the sound quality (it’s OK, not amazing) but the connectivity. I have multiple soundbars including the 600 and they’re just really frustrating to use. They have a hard time connecting, randomly cut out or disconnect, and I often deal with problems when switching outputs Their support is very bad too..
r/TVTooHigh • How did I do? ->Samsung Q600 or Q800 Or sonos beam
r/Soundbars • Should I Replace the Samsung HW-E450? Which Soundbar (Around 500$CAD) Would be Better for Voice Clarity? ->Yes, maybe the q730 will be better then. But neither the Q600c or Qs730 have the Active voice amplifier, tho you can still put up the volume of the center Chanel on both of them, to hear the voices clearer. If you can find an old/used Q800b or C it would be much better. but if not go with the Qs730
r/Soundbars • Should I Replace the Samsung HW-E450? Which Soundbar (Around 500$CAD) Would be Better for Voice Clarity? ->I had the same problem with the hw q800 series 3 years ago. Had a hw q600 series soundbar and sub that sub was way punchier than the big one. I had found a way to download a bass test somewhere to see if it was me or sub just underwhelming. Turned out the latter, returned it and got a refund. Some reviews of the q990d say the same, others don't for some reason.
r/Soundbars • Samsung Q990D disappointing? ->Grab a samsung 3.1.2 there around 300$ open box Canadian usa prob like 199$ I forget the model
r/Soundbars • Upgrading Samsung HW-K450-R 2.1 Channel Sound bar - what should I get? ->Ι had the d60 and the nova s80. They are temu quality speakers, they are toys. They are barely worth 50 euros let alone 300. You can buy an actual soundbar at this pricepoint. Samsung q600, q700, q800 whatever. Check also on the used market
r/Soundbars • Ultimea Poseidon D80 vs Ultimea Nova S80 ->The Samsung tv will help with center channel with the Q symphony I believe. Prob will not notice much if at all. Samsung as others had said is def a far better bang for your buck. I don’t consider myself an audio expect but I had what I thought was a nice lg 5.1.2 soundbar and the Samsung blows it away. Voice clarity is what shocked me the most. All ranges of sounds are more defined and crisp even when only steaming. 4k Blu-ray Discs up the level another few notches. There are a bunch of posts on this subreddit explaining how to save a bunch of money ordering some Samsung directly if you choose to go with that soundbar
r/Soundbars • Has Bose lost its crown? ->I found that Q-Symphony adds a nice touch of fill-in to the front soundstage. Not life changing, but definitely worth it.
r/Soundbars • Q990D or Q800D? (I have no space for rear speakers) ->I’ve had the sennheiser ambeo, Bose smart ultra, and the Samsung q800, in that order. First two were returned for connectivity issues with my newish Samsung tv. The q800 has been great (the ambeo probably had the best surround but only if it connected). Q symphony is amazing. With the first two bars, you could clearly tell the sound was coming from below the TV… q symphony fixes that completely. And the subwoofer is amazing.
