Check Best Buy open box I got an ht-a3000 for $250
I've no experience of the other two, but I would advise against the Sony HT-A3000. I had one and never liked the sound. Voices sound harsh and 'brassy', like there's too much middle EQ on the centre speaker. Bass is there, but with only Min, Mid and Max adjustment, I found Mid was lacking but Max was too much. There's also a lack of 'mid-bass', so whilst you get the low end, it feels like something is missing, and there's no 'warmth' to the overall sound.
The Q990D is a great soundbar. Everyone will vouch for that. Specifically about the bass; to me there is nothing to complain. It's great. But, you will hear a lot of people saying otherwise. That's because it's not very bass heavy. If you want that kind of sound, get a JBL 1000 or 1300. You will constantly feel the bass. I evaluated the Q990D, JBL 1000/1300 and Sony A3000/5000/7000 at the time, and I found the Q990D to the best from all perspectives. Also remember the bass is dependent on your audio stream as well. In Atmos movies, the Q990D at 15-25 volume levels, shakes my recliners if I am watching say Jurassic Park. That should say something about the subwoofer. Also, if Samsung will constantly adjust the speakers (if you switch on the features on Smart Things) to offer the best experience. Where you place the subwoofer also matters, specially from the bass perspective. Hope that helps you.
The theater bar 8 is a really good option it’s not a great price right now it’s $850 it has been on sale for $700 and when you buy your tv with the soundbar you get a $100 soundbar bundle so you get the bar for $600 so in the Sonos beam territory of price. You do need to use the Bravia connect app to setup the bar but you don’t need to use during day to day use you can control the sound bar directly from the tv because Sony sound bars allow you to just use your tv’s remote to control most feature directly from the TV’s interface. If you are looking for a super solid option that is not nearly as expensive that does not require an app I would still look at the hta-3000 from Sony looks like it’s $600 right now but you get it for $500 right now with your Bravia 7 purchase it’s a 3.1 has the same sound mapping tech as well as not requiring you to use the app at all. Also Sonos’s app is still broken I would not recommend it still at this time. Also I’m a member at Bestbuy too and if the price of the item goes lower within your 60 day return window they will price match both your tv and soundbar without having to bring them in. good to know the sony A3000 has some bass. I'm leaning towards getting that and was worried the bass would be lackluster. I currently have a hisense tv with a built in soundbar: 2.1.2 . It's great, i'm worried about my next dedicated soundbar now. I'll probably run into the same problem as you. Have you looked at the more premium sony Bravia tv's? Some of them have 'acoustic surface' speakers in the screen. They are very clear.
