Unless you're looking for a very specific model used soundbars can be had on Marketplace incredibly cheap. Old ladies go to Best buy, get the best units and then sell them off cheap when they upgrade. I scored a pretty nice Yamaha with the little built-in sub for $30. A. Sony htg700 for $80. I almost got the good Vizio whatever it is with the rear satellites for $100 but I lost it due to scheduling. Also, I don't know if you're new to sound or not, but any soundbar that says Atmos isn't going to give you real Atmos. If you truly want good sound, you need components. Soundbars are great for the bedroom though.

You can look into something really inexpensive - with only the soundbar setup. For example, I've had Sony HT-G700 for a year and a half before I've decided to upgrade to Q935-GD (it's essentially the same as Q930D). The difference is insane. It will cost you about 150 bucks, but you will get an idea of what to expect from the size and the price value. But - for 200 sqft room it would be very small. You need something in 500-600 bucks range (such as Q930D). Sadly, there is no way around - physics are physics. If your room was smaller - you could have gotten away with smaller setup

No, I do not have an SB900. Nowhere in my comment do I say I have a Bose Soundbar 900. I currently have a Sony HT-G700. Also, my TV isn’t compatible with DTS whatsoever. So no DTS passthrough. I have to connect directly to a soundbar via an HDMI in, not the eARC. Bose doesn’t have dedicated HDMI inputs for things like a 4k Blu-ray player.

I'm using Sony HT-G700 (soundbar + sub woofer) for my 65x90L tv. Because my tv and sound system are both Sonys, i can use all features available for my PS5. Anyway, not all have big spaces to have many speakers that's why many opted to get soundbars.
