ULTIMEA - Nova S50

I’ve been very content with my Ultimea Nova S50 that I got for $140. Clear dialogue, compact size to fit under any tv, decently powerful sound. Perfect for a small living room. Plus the brand is sold at Best Buy now, provides software updates for products & also is releasing new products all the time

I got the Ultimea Nova S50 for $140cad and for a family (besides me) that only care about clear dialogue, it’s been great. Keeping my expectations in check, for the price, it sounds clear, has way more depth than any tv will have, is convenient having eArc and has been going strong for 1.5years now. I would have to spend a lot more to get a noticeably better audio experience imo (like $400-$500 range) and that wasn’t a responsible amount for me to spend when my family has other needs. As long as you keep expectations in check, I’m sure both options listed would be good. Especially with the added surrounds

$200 is tough. I enjoy my Ultimea Nova S50 for its compact size, great clarity and sound for its size plus it’s super cheap. But having said that you can get some really awesome soundbars by upping your budget to $400, $600 or $800 if that’s a possibility.

My Ultimea nova s50 is miles better then my TVs speakers, got it for $149cad off prime. Super small and barely noticeable too

From my point of view, this Ultimea brand is excellent in terms of quality and price. I have a Nova S50 and wow, I'm not complaining, it's excellent. I hope to buy a higher-end model soon.

Do let us know how the D70 sounds compared to more established brands. I have had two Ultimea soundbars, the 2.1 S50 and the 5.1 D60, and I really like them both. They are way better than tv speakers and the bass/clarity is nice. I don't have a reference for nicer systems, but Ultimea has good value especially on sale. Their customer support is a lot of back and forth, but overall pretty easy (I have a surround issue with my D60, so I'm getting a warranty replacement.

I have a little Ultimea paired with my bedroom tv. Sounds pretty good for the price!

Exactly- I paid $50 for it and for the price it sounds fine for bedroom television volumes
