I bought this Sept, 2025 and I am happy with it. The price was half off what is on the Ultimea website [https://www.walmart.com/ip/ULTIMEA-5-1-Surround-Sound-Bar-3D-System-320W-bar-TV-Wireless-Subwoofer-Rear-Speakers-Bass-Adjustable-Home-Theater-Speakers/749546371](https://www.walmart.com/ip/ULTIMEA-5-1-Surround-Sound-Bar-3D-System-320W-bar-TV-Wireless-Subwoofer-Rear-Speakers-Bass-Adjustable-Home-Theater-Speakers/749546371) It doesn't have Atmos, but 5.1 is good enough for me
I bought this in Sept 2025 and still love it. It won't do Atmos, but none of my subscriptions broadcast in Atmos anyway, so I am good with it. I’m personally running a Ultimea Poseidon D60 soundbar in a \~20㎡ room, and it’s been solid loud, fills the space, and doesn’t fall apart when pushed. The M3T is basically the cheaper entry into that same “good value, big sound” category, and it’ll be a massive upgrade over your TV speakers.
I've tried 3 ultima systems in the past 8 or so months. A 5.1 a 7.1 and a 7.1.4. all 3 of them had really bad surround speaker volume. The best was the 7.1.4 but that's probably from the extra 2 upfiring channels in the back. The 5.1 and 7.1 both had an amazing subwoofer and bass as well as a great sound bar but before I returned them via Amazon the last 10 days of testing both systems I didn't even bother to turn on the surround speakers they were borderline useless.
Having peeped the Ultimea lineup based on the buzz from here, they're merely mid-level cabecillas, that will likely take the place of Vizio now that Walmart's subjugation and annexation of that brand sent them in a death spiral towards oblivion alongside Onn! I would've been satisfied with the typical "black plastic crap" sound of Ultimea & other nobodies had I not been a reporter on a university student newspaper in the early '70s for my fellow scribes introduced me to 🎖️& platinum 👂ed audio as they enthusiastically waxed rhapsodic about McIntosh, Mark Levinson & Nakamichi hardware, I ended up getting hooked on that class of audio!
Ultimea is the best value soundbar. I got an Apollo S40 on the Facebook Marketplace for $20, and it's more than adequate for a great 2.1 channel set-up. It has 2 tweeters and two woofers per channel and a subwoofer-out port. You can also buy refurbished models from their official Temu store named 'Ultimea Refurbished' to save 40 to 60%. Although for a PC in particular you should probably look for a PC-specific soundbar and surround system from someone like Logitech. There are lots of them on Facebook for less than $55.
Ultimea is not bad, but these cheap ones keep firing bass lol
Ultimea for me. Bought last year D80 boom. But if you prefer with height up firing Speakers get the sky wave x series. Besides affordability without breaking a bank but standard Dolby Atmos speakers is my preference for now. But if you have extra budget. Get the bar 800mk2 or 1000 of JBL. With regards to your preferred brand against LG, Sony theater 6 is better but extra functionality of Sony features will require Sony TV. Nevertheless its all good. Check also Polk magnifi series.
I just bought 2 to try out. Trash. The sound isn't great, vocals get drowned out.
I just got the Onn 5.1.2 from Walmart for $199 and I was really impressed. It has a woofer, 2 wireless rear speakers, and up-firing speakers. The room filling sound is great when you watch a film in Dolby Atmos. Don't knock it because it is a Walmart brand. It is very likely that it is built by a name brand company. I tried 3 other soundbars and this one was the best by far. By the way stay away from Ultimea. The sound isn't great.
