I payed for the whole amount so I was not given it for free So why did I buy the Ultimea Skywave x70? My first product was the Ultimea Aura A50, I got that soundbar when my Pheanoo D15 subwoofer broke, it was a 2.0 channel and I was looking deep to invest on a good soundbar So initially I found the Aura A50 on Walmart, good price of 110! I bought it and week after I realized they have a 7.1 system which was the Aura A60. So I ended up returning the Aura A50 and then buying the Aura A60 in temu because I had a $45 dollars off coupon I can use on anything (they sell anywhere, Amazon, Walmart, target, etc) with discount code I had from $175 down to $130 Then I started to look at the latest flagship which was the Skywave X70, once early bird started, I bought it with coupon Once I initially bought it, it was to replace my old denon reciver with defenitive speakers, which are very good still but it was crackling and the sub on the left tower was broken. Once I hooked up my Skywave X70, I was just expecting "its probably not a huge diffrence" Of the soundbar But man I was wrong! It blew my expectations away!! It's very good overall!! The surround experience was amazing, i play alot of Helldivers 2 and man the experience is amazing!! I can tell you too, the bass on this thing is very strong, it even broke a lighthouse decoration I put on christmas, the bass pushed it off the shelf, which I had to fix with Glue, it really rattles the walls!!! Compared to Samsung 11.1.4, thats very huge in terms of early bird price, it costed half of $1,000!!! I can't say it's better than the samsung 11.1.4 because I perosnally never tried it, but the experience with Ultimea and thier skywave X70, it's by far the best man, i love it So I took the risk of buying from another company, and I must say, 2 months in, I have no regrets. Eventually I bought the posideon D80 Boom for a movie room we have and it's amazing quality of diffrence compared to the TCL Alto 8+ 3.1.2 i had. I would take 7.1 over 3.1.2 any day, just to have true surround. So overall, taking the risk of buying from ultimea was a good decision. Basically in other words I took one for the team to see the truth
Mine's coming tomorrow so I get to hear for myself I tried the skyway 70 lots of bass The sound of the sound bar wasn't clear enough Also picked up the TCL 85H that just didn't get loud enough barely no bass I own a Vizio 5.1 with a little mini sub sounds really good better than both those that were 3x the price and more accurate but it's time for upgrade i owned this for about 5 years
If anything, maybe go up to the Ultimea Skywave series. I’ve got the x70 and it blows away anything I’ve ever heard.
You asking me? It’s not out yet, but look up the Ultimea Skywave X100 Dual. It competes with the Tamagotchi or whatever in every category except the price. You’ll thank me later. I bought the current offering the x70 and it’s so good I preordered the x100 for the 9.2.6. I can’t even describe the loudness, bass, or overall clarity enough but it’s really good.
I’d recommend an Ultimea setup. They have some nice options. I went with the Skywave x70 and it literally blows me away every time I turn it on. I realize I could have probably been more than happy with the smaller ones after seeing how much this thing can punch out sound. This might even be the ones your friends envy after they hear it.
I haven’t heard the Samsung, but from previous interactions with mid tier Samsung , I wasn’t impressed. I had audio cutouts due to the technology used for the wireless portions. The X70 eliminates that issue with dual 5ghz wireless. It’s clean, clear, lag free, and it sounds really good. The setup has 4 upfiring speakers as well that really completes the surround sound. After gambling with my money on this purchase, I feel like I won. Also the x100 dual will be coming out in march, and I like this one so much, I have already preordered. It takes what I have and adds a left middle and right middle and an extra woofer. These subs hit all the sweet spots as far as the lows that you can’t hear but can feel in the seats. I had to come up with a solution after my wife wanted to update the entertainment center with a fireplace instead. So my 3500 watt system had to go. I researched it for a little over a month before pulling the trigger on this. Most reviews were either paid or sponsored. So I can’t say one is better as I’ve only used the x70, but I can say that I don’t think it gets better than this. It competes with my Bose system with 12” kicker r comps in my Yukon Denali. Loud, clear, and bass for days that mixes very well. Hope this helps
Piggy backing the Ultimea! I just got the x70 and it’s probably too much for the average use case. But that said, I think that the x50 would fall in line for the money. With fine tuning of the eq on the phone app, I was able to customize the sound for each genre, like gaming or movies. At least look at them. I’m not affiliated with them but I think I found a new hobby with their selection.
The sub on the x70 is massive and the sound reflects that. It can be a lot at times if you don’t tune it some. Other than that, I’m sure they are pretty close. Seems like a perfect combo
My recommendation is in the Ultimea area. I have the Skywave x70. But feel free to go with any of the Skywave offerings based on your needs as those are the only servers I can vouch for as most are very similar to mine and it’s the best bang for the buck
Give Ultimea a shot. They are really good. I’d even say they are great if you count the bang for the buck. I’m using the Skywave x70 right now but I will upgrade when the preorder goes live to the Skywave x100 dual. But they have smaller options that fit your style better.
No glitches or anything. I’ve experienced that with other soundbars like lg and some Samsung. The one I have used dual 5g signals which see zero interruptions or disconnections. I can’t say enough about how these wow me every time I use them. I can’t speak for the other lines outside of the Skywave, but within that community, those people rave about those as well.
I have an ultimea x70 which sounds great and for the price i think it's a steal. And otw is the new x100 dual by ultimea and im expecting that 1 to be soo much more than the x70 I am already happy with. I've had the vizio elevate se which was decent and even tried walmarts onn 5.1.2 which for 200 bucks isn't that bad tbh.
I tried it. It’s trash compared to to Sony theatre quad
Looking good! Ummm, still more room for a larger tv! HAHA! I just got my Ultimea Skywave X70 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos dual up firing front & rear speakers w/10" Sub down to 20hz. Very happy with how it performs!
With the up firing front & rear speakers, The Skywave is really cool. I have the Skywave X60 which is the baby brother up on Ebay brand new untouched if anybody is interested for a nice price. 700 on Am... only 500 buy it now. The X60 is an 8" subwoofer instead of a 10" but still goes down to 28hz. Slightly less wattage, but everything else is all the same. It truly is a high end system at more budget pricing. It has Xupmix which will upgrade stereo & 5.1 for Atmos sound. These are a beast. [https://www.ebay.com/itm/277465478895](https://www.ebay.com/itm/277465478895)
Thank you kind Redditor! I was in the market for a new system and almost spent $700 on the Ultimea X70. When I saw your comment I wasn't sure if teachers counted in their program. We count! Ordered and it'll be here on the 13th!
[ULTIMEA SKYWAVE X70 7.1.4 Surround Sound System](https://preview.redd.it/h0xnvm7o3akf1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=432555a6b496f6660e4fd1301c27ec6452544079) My friend sent me a sample from their company that haven't been released yet, just share my testing result. This product from an unknown brand called ULTIMEA. TBH, before I met my friend (who works there), I’d only seen a few videos about it on Youtube. Okay, letz do it. The packaging feels nice. It actually looks a little bit premium. (the sale price will be $699, maybe) It comes with a soundbar and 2 satellite speakers, the subwoofer, a 10-inch one. The specs claim it can go down to 20Hz, though I’m not sure how true from 10", bc I have a SVS SB-1000 Pro 13" it only just goes down to 20Hz and cost me $599... We’ll talk about it later. I am gonna to talk about the sound. I tried it out with a couple of action movies and some Dolby demo videos. As for the soundstage, it’s ok, and the surround effect comes through well. (Btw my setup is LG S95TR) Next up, the upward-firing speakers. I tried some rain and thunder effects, and I can really sense the sound coming from above. But it’s not super sharp and clean, maybe about 80% of the S95TR. Could be because it’s missing one unit (S95TR 9.1.5, This 7.1.4), not totally sure. The front soundbar vocals that are clear. But honestly, at this 500+ price range, good vocals are a given, there’s really no question about it.. The most of people care about the subwoofer. I hooked it up to my phone and played some tones from 40Hz all the way down to 20Hz. (used APP called SONIC) I don’t have professional testing software to verify if it really reaches 20Hz, but generally speaking, 20Hz is hard to hear with your ears and more physically feeling.(Can someone tell me if there’s an easier way to test range?)I started playing from 40Hz and I tried it with action movies earlier, sounded clean and punchy and I’d say it sounds great around 40Hz. When I dropped it down to 20Hz, it still put out some low-end rumble. I put my hand on it, and i could feel the good vibrations. TBH it feels about the same as my SVS SB-1000 13". (maybe 90% look like) I’d say this set is on par with a professional soundbar. The material are great, and the sound gets 80% close of some top brands. If you’ve got a bigger budget I still you can check out other systems (990D, LGS95TR, JBL1000 ). But I mean if you’re under $1,000, this one maybe a great buy definitely good value for money
I absolutely love the X70… such an amazing speaker
Ultimea for me. Bought last year D80 boom. But if you prefer with height up firing Speakers get the sky wave x series. Besides affordability without breaking a bank but standard Dolby Atmos speakers is my preference for now. But if you have extra budget. Get the bar 800mk2 or 1000 of JBL. With regards to your preferred brand against LG, Sony theater 6 is better but extra functionality of Sony features will require Sony TV. Nevertheless its all good. Check also Polk magnifi series.
