r/braviaEvery soundbar we've tried sounds poor. Could it be the Bravia 7?

Mine is 10 years old. YAS-207. I love how it sounds. Cost about $300 back then. Excellent for rock and any other heavy bass music. Brilliant but not grating treble.

I don't think I paid more than 300 euro at the time so it was a good price for value overall, it lasted me almost 10 years and it's still working at my brother's place now. The lack of surround and the weak center channel were too annoying though.

I had the same soundbar. It's decent in terms of clarity, but when I got a Samsung 900t with added subs I realized how lackin the Yamaha was. Sad thing was I paid almost the same for both. Was a total soundbar noob.

I had a cheapie JBL for a week then picked up a cheap Yamaha YAS on marketplace, and very quickly gave away the JBL. Had to change sound modes on the JBL constantly for clarity depending on the source.
