what is your specific range? any cheap one under $100 shows up the same way as yours current. There aren't many difference between a $100 and $200. if you wanna go around $300 to $400, i'd say go for autonomous desk 2. ive had from my office till my desk setup at home, it still holds up so fine after 3 yrs

same here, I didn’t realize how much slouching I did until I had the option to stand. Back pain eased up after 2-3 weeks btw many guys asked which standing desk i am using. I am on https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-eureka

I went with the Autonomous desk 2. It’s not crazy expensive, but solid enough for dual monitors. Hope it will help u https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-eureka

I thought the same. After trying the autonomous desk 2, I realized the main benefit isn’t burning tons of calories but moving more naturally throughout the day. Maybe read this for more info https://www.autonomous.ai/ourblog/do-you-burn-calories-with-a-standing-desk

kinda depends what you mean by “budget” tbh. some of the super cheap ones do end up feeling like a false economy, mostly bc of wobble or motors acting up after a while. but there’s a middle zone where it’s not dirt cheap, not premium either, and those can hold up pretty well if you’re not pushing them too hard every day. sth like the Autonomous Desk 2 sits around there. not BIFL forever, but not the kind of desk you regret a year in either

I got 1 from Autonomous about 12 years ago. Still going strong. I bought the stand mechanism with 2 motors and put a butcher block top on it just like another user did.

I'm 5'4" and have a Autonomous desk. It only goes down to 26" which is still a bit too high for me. I keep it down at 26" and have my chair adjusted to match the desk, and then use a Human Scale footrest to get my feet back up to where they should be. [https://www.amazon.com/Humanscale-Foot-Machine-Footrest-natural/dp/B000HVI1RG/ref=ast\_sto\_dp\_puis](https://www.amazon.com/Humanscale-Foot-Machine-Footrest-natural/dp/B000HVI1RG/ref=ast_sto_dp_puis) Stacking reams of paper up is a good temporary footrest option too. :) My chair is a Steelcase Gesture (442A30) that I got years ago at a factory sale. The seat pan is a good depth for my legs and the arm rests adjust to where I need them as well.

I got one shipped to me from Autonomous a few years ago. I mostly sit at it now but I have no complaints.
