If stability is ur main concern, check out the [autonomous desk 5](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-5), it’s one of the sturdiest options I’ve tried in that price range

for anyone asking about the best height adjustable standing desk in the $300–400 range, I’d honestly say the autonomus desk 5 is hard to beat. [Link](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-5) here if you wanna check specs

got autonomos desk 5 around this time last year for their early holiday sale. setup was easy, lift is smooth and quiet, the bult in tray actually got me outta lots of cable trouble had it for about 6 months now and no complaints, feels sturdy and looks clean. if you’re eyeing it for black friday, i’d say it’s worth your thought

DIY standing desk plans looked like a dream to me. But i started with nothing then I ended up wasting weekends sanding and fixing wobbles. Decided to cave this [autonomous desk 5](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-5) from a friend rec Rock solid frame, smooth lift, looks clean. Not dirty cheap, but worth it for something that just right

been using a standing desk for about 6 months now, honestly didn’t realize how much sitting was draining my energy till I switched. I went with the [autonomous desk 5](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-5) and it’s been solid so far with smooth lift, quiet motors and it actually fits in my tiny room

tbh your list is pretty much what I was looking at too. FlexiSpot are kinda the usual picks in that range. from what I’ve seen, they’re fine for lighter setups but can get a bit iffy with monitor arms long term then I ended up going with [Autonomous Desk Core](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-5) instead since it was still around that upper budget. solid for a basic setup like yours, doesn’t feel sketchy when raised which was my main concern. imo if you can get sth like that at the top end of your budget, it’s a safer bet than going cheaper

Three months ago, I bought the Autonomous Desk 5, and it works well for my needs. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble. I chose it because I needed more desk space at home. The 48-inch size was perfect, and considering the price, it was a great value. I like it.

Before purchasing the Autonomous Desk 5, I was looking for extra desk space, but most desks cost over $500.00. Then I came across this desk https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-5?is_open=true&option_code=SmartDesk5-SmartDesk52motors_ChooseColor.DarkKahki%2CChooseModel.Ultimate%2CChooseMotor.Single%2CChooseSize.Classic and paid around $300.00. You could opt for a larger version, but for my needs, the 48" was sufficient and works well for my home office setup, complementing my other desk. I will add that when assembling it, which was not difficult, but is a two-person job. I purchased a pull-out drawer from Autonomous and installed it for additional storage; it was not difficult at all, and it works well and is solid. Anyway, this was my solution and was a good one.

Last month, I purchased an Autonomous Desk 5, which features a tray underneath for managing cords and cables. This addition has proven to be beneficial for my needs. Although I wasn’t explicitly looking for this feature when searching for a standing desk, it has turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

ur budget is perfect for solid options rn. the EN2 is fine for static use but if u're serious about the walking pad, u need better stability. Autonomous has the Desk 5 Core for $299 during Black Friday. I haven't seen mid-tier brands go that low with decent build quality. dual monitor setup fits easy and it handles treadmill use way better than wobbly budget desks. hope this helps

If you're looking for that balance between price and performance, I'd say focus on stability and major quality. I went through the same hunt and landed on the Desk 5 from Autonomous, surprisingly sturdy for the price point and super quiet lift. might be worth checking while their sale's on

just saw that autonomous dropped prices early for black friday. if u gonna buy, now is probably the time. got my desk 5 last year around this time and saved a ton

finding a budget desk that isn't shallow or shaky is surprisingly hard. most cheap desks are too shallow and you end up sitting way too close to your screen. If it’s deep enough, it usually wobbles like crazy. But if it’s stable, the desktop is often tiny. it’s a frustrating trade-off, and you rarely find something that actually hits both marks without doubling your budget for my setup, i went with the autonomous core and it’s solid. it focuses on the essentials: a sturdy frame and enough depth for a proper monitor arm. Although the cable management wasted quite much time since it doesn't come with a tray. But it doesnt shake at all even at full height, which was what I actually cared about. Def rec checkin it out

Yeah I’ve actually been using an Autonomous desk for a little over a year now, got into it thanks to a coworker who wouldn’t stop raving about theirs If leaning toward a DIY setup, they do sell just the desk frame separately. I remember seeing a pretty solid review post about it here on reddit not long ago, probably in their official sub That said, since it’s black friday season, I’d honestly just go for the full Desk 5 setup instead. the sale price is a steal right now and it saves you the hassle of hunting down a separate tabletop (and paying double shipping). I’ve got the Desk 5 myself and it’s been great so far, sturdy, smooth and exactly what my coworker said it would be. Haven’t run into any major downsides yet The other 2 brands OP mentioned are solid too, but they’re definitely a bit pricier. So just check out the current sale first and see what fits your budget, hopefully this helps a bit with op's decision!
