standing all day isnt the goal, balance is. an adjustable desk like autonomous desk 5 makes the switch effortness. thats the real benefit

I think both E7 and E7+ are solid choices, but don’t sleep on other brands. I’ve been running the autonomous desk 5 for a while now and it’s been surprisingly stable on carpet with a dual monitor setup. Might be another option to throw into the mix before you pull the trigger

I had similar exp with compact desk setup, it worked okay for lighter use but once I added monitor arm and started using all day, the wobble got pretty distracting... That said, if you're considering using your current desk as main setup, I'd really look into something more stable.
