I have the Destronic home pro and absolutely love it.
It's very sturdy, weighs a ton and the finish is really good. The desk is a singular plate while my wife has a cheaper desk where the desk consists of 3 separate plates.
I like that the Destronic is moving very quickly but silently without disturbing anything that'son top. My cat wakes up because he feels some movement but it's not scared of it because it moves very smoothly.
The holes on the side I honestly don't mind. Good way to route your cables to the underneath cable management (which I bought separately from Destronic) and put something in front of it to hide the view of the holes.
I was in the same position as you, deciding between flexispot and desktronic, but glad I went with desktronic.

I have a 200x80x2,5cm Solid acacia wood table top.
It also can lift 150kg at max speed. I tested it with less but it's working fine
