Hi! As a Desky enthusiast, I'm sure I can help with any concerns you may have before you make a decision on purchasing a new office set-up. We know first-hand how hard it is to choose the right desk for your needs. Our desks come backed under a limited warranty so rest assured if on arrival something is not quite right with your order, or perhaps down the track if you experience an issue with your Desky, our growing team of experts are here to assist in getting your desk up and running as soon as possible for you. Feel free to send me a message if you need any advice on choosing a Desky Desk, or feel free to drop any questions that you may have down below :) Thanks for your interest in Desky and our office products!
r/StandingDesk • Need honest feedback ->\- Desky Here, It appears the other options are Single sit stand desks. So, these only having one motor will have a lesser range of height adjustment, a lower weight capacity and a shorter warranty. This is pretty standard with single sit stand desks, we have them ourselves with a 3 year warranty on ours. A couple of things to bear in mind is your height requirement. Sit at your desk in a comfortable height, and measure. Quite a few single sit stand desks have a limited height capacity and it may not be great for you. The Second thing to think about is is this going to just be a short term buy, or a long term investment? A short term buy may be o.k to cheap out a little, maybe even go with something like a sit stand converter [https://desky.com.au/products/zero-standing-desk-converter](https://desky.com.au/products/zero-standing-desk-converter) or are you going all in on the sit stand desk? A Decent one will last you 10-15 years, where as a cheaper one, maybe 1/2 that if you are lucky. Lastly, let me know if you want a discount code if you are going ahead with the mini :D \- Team Desky
r/StandingDesk • Australia small desk dilemma ->\- Desky Here, Both Desks are stable and have minimal wobble, Both Desks are Good quality with reasonable warranty periods. Either Desk would be good for your needs. Where Desky has an edge i believe, is two fold. The Variety of Desktops that we offer and the quality of them. We have a huge range to choose from, but if you aren't particular and just want a plain white melamine desktop, we can do that. Our Melamine range is strong and hard wearing, and solid core, so not flimsy like you may find with other suppliers The other advantage i believe we have is our cable management system. Its clean, and does its job amazingly well at hiding cables out of the way and being accessible when you need it. If you have any questions, please feel free to DM me, we can also get you a discount code for your first purchase of a sit stand desk \- Team Desky
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot E7 or Desky Dual ->Desky and Autonomous are much higher quality than Uplift. I am personally using a desky and it's really nice, solid. Big fan of the cable management system. Zero wobble at any height for me. it was a bit of a pain to put together
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot vs Desky vs Autumomous. Which is better ->I used a brand called zen space desk, it’s not the best but it was cheap! Omnidesk has good quality so does desky
r/auscorp • Messed up my back and now I need Sit/Stand Desk recommendations? ->Just got a desky, honestly didn’t even know it was a thing till the day I ordered it. It came super lightly damaged due to fedex placement and box coming apart a smidge, they were super responsive, offered a replacement part or adjustment within an hour of me reaching out. I also love the product I got the Bambu and it is fantastic.
r/setups • Is there actually a best standing desk or are they all pretty similar? ->80Kg weight capacity and 70-120cm height range. This looks like a single sit stand desk, before you bite the bullet, make sure your sitting height is 70cm or more. Otherwise itll be a pain the butt and not ergonomic at all. I got my Dual sit stand from Desky, it was a little more than a single, but they will probably have a black friday sale.
r/StandingDesks • Anyone in Australia found a good dual-motor standing desk? ->Most of the bigger standing desk brands keep their sales pretty steady year round. Black Friday or Labor Day might net you some freebies or a small extra discount, but it’s rarely a massive price drop. If you need to buy soon to get that work reimbursement, you might be better off finding a desk that’s already good value without waiting for the “perfect” sale. You could wait for the sale and get the Desky Dual Mini Sit Stand Desk. It’s got a compact footprint but still handles heavy setups without wobble. There’s a big height range so you can fine tune it. It’s also pretty quiet since it’s dual motor.
r/StandingDesks • Best time to buy standing desk ->I have a Desky, love it.
r/StandingDesk • Best standing desk frame ->Same! Love my Desky
r/StandingDesk • Really digging the Desky standing desk ->My Desky is really cool, I means its sit stand so legs are built for the machine but real wood desk top is such a class. Goes with my home interior. Can use it as a bar on Weekends.
r/StandingDesk • Why are most of the standing desk so office-ugly? ->i'd go with flexispot, solid for the price. desky's decent too but tends to cost more. get whatever fits your setup better.
r/remotework • Suggestions for a reliable standing desk around $500–600+? ->I think the Desky would be worth it over the one on Wayfair. The Wayfair one's desktop is in three pieces, so you will have two joints down the depth of the desk. Warranty is a good indicator of the company's faith in their product, so I would go with the longer warranty. Their site doesn't show that the 10 year warranty is something you would purchase like an extended warranty, so it should come with your purchase of the desk. I have a Deskhaus desk that I am very happy with and have used an Uplift desk that was also great. I believe Desky's desk is also manufactured by the same company, Jiecang, except the Deskhaus Apex is manufactured in their US factory. Uplift would be a good one stop shop for you. They just came out with their v3 but I don't know how it compares to their v2. Deskhaus has their Peak series that is comparable to the Uplift v2, but I don't know if you are willing to wait for it to come back to stock. The Deskhaus Apex is a great desk and I love it, but I don't see it's worth anymore compared to the Peak unless you really want something American made.
r/StandingDesk • I Just Want A Clear Cut Answer And Conversation On What Standing Desk I Should Get With 1.3k/1.6k ->I’d start with the Desky Dual Mini Sit Stand Desk. It’s small enough to fit in most home setups but still gives you a full height range and can handle over 300 lbs, so you won’t run into limits if you add more gear later. You can also check local listings for Flexispot as well. People pick up pallets and resell them cheap, and you can sometimes grab an E7 Pro for way under retail.
