Affordable and stable, but assembly can be confusing.

I bought this almost a year ago on Temu for like \~$50, and I can attest it is quite good and adjustably is very useful. I would lean this against a wall because only having 2 legs will make it shaky when you type on a keyboard. Not unusable shaky, but definitely not unnoticable.
The budget one I got from Fezibo broke within a month and customer service was useless. Don’t get it from them!
I don't know about that chair but I sit criss [cross applesauce in chairs like thes](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=criss+cross+applesauce+chair&adgrpid=181639137090&hvadid=779576090044&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9019656&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=8732047451224141964--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=8732047451224141964&hvtargid=kwd-884312086787&hydadcr=7660_13589720_2078504&mcid=ee595d0deaca385498b28e7644c33f4a&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_vse0onyf7_e)e when I'm home. I can't even remember which one I bought but I spent like $50 and it works great 2 years later. I have one of the Fezibo electric standing desks, I think 48 in wide, it fits 3 monitors. I'm hybrid now but the main things for me outside of the above have been 3 monitors (or laptop + 2 extra), an external webcam than my laptop one (I'm cameras on for all meetings) and good noise cancelling headphones. I just use my airpods.
I actually make content on setups and the one product that all brands started sending me early on were standing desks. I’ve showcased and reviewed/compared lots of them. To the point that I got bored of talking about standing desks. Lol. Important tips: -They all wobble at standing heights if they have 2 legs. Bothers some people, doesn’t bother others. At sitting height they are solid. I kept a Flexispot E7 Plus as a workbench on wheels. 4 legs, so super stable and I like the dark walnut top with the black frame. -Even a cheap standing desk will do fine. I’ve tested everything from under $250-$3500 standing desks. They all have worked fine when it comes to being a desk and being able to stand. The cheaper stuff requires more steps to build and have very little features. Quality is also lower and the top might come in two pieces to save on shipping. But my wife loves her cheap $250 Fezibo desk from Amazon. She doesn’t care about the bells and whistles. -Think about what you’re going to put on it. If you’re using clamp on accessories, avoid desks with a thick frame that goes all the way around. Do you want to have clean cable management? See that it at least comes with a cable management tray. Some even come with pegboards. -I like Vernal and Flexispot as good value options. But you have the high end stuff like Secret Lab, Grovemade, Ergonofis, etc. And most brands have higher end tops like real wood instead of laminate. -My dream standing desk is probably the Balolo one, but haven’t had a chance with that one yet. Let us know what you end up going for!
I run a YouTube channel on desk setups mainly and have been sent so many standing desks over the last two years. Lol. Here are my findings: -My wife bought a cheap fezibo for $250 and she still uses it. Not the best looking, but still works for her. -Flexispot and Vernal are the best value for your money and solid desks with different price points. Well within your budget and even under $400 with sales. -All two legged standing desks wobble at standing heights. Even the expensive secret lab magnus pro. The only way to mostly get rid of a lot of wobble is to have a 4 legged standing desk. I actually kept one from flexispot that’s 4 legs as a work bench for shooting content. -With your budget, I would focus on the look and features that are important for you. Things like depth and size for your needs as well. Accessories that come with it like a cable management tray, etc. -If you use clamp on accessories, check to make sure the desk will support that on almost all the edges. I’ve found some desk designs don’t allow you to easily use clamp on accessories which I like to use. -Always looks at real video or customer pictures of the desk before you buy it. I’ve seen brands over saturate their marketing pictures. And when it comes in, it looks dull or quite different.
So I started a desk setup YouTube channel a little over 2 years ago now and one of the items I would get sent pretty early on were standing desks. So I covered a ton of them through reviews, sponsorships, etc. And while I’ve covered many of nice ones. We bought the cheapest one we could find at the time on Amazon for my wife’s desk setup build. I think it was a fezibo one, which might be owned by one of the larger brands anyways. it was like $200 and while it doesn’t look nice, it’s super functional and my wife loves it. I’ve yet to run into a standing desk that doesn’t work as intended. I do have a lot of experience with vernal and flexispot. I think they are both great options because their prices are so good for what you get when it comes to low and mid tier options. What I liked about vernal is how easy the assembly process was and yes, the accessories. The last video I did with them was for a solid wood top standing and the quality was great. It was for a desk setup build for a friend and I was sad I was giving it to him and not keeping it for myself. lol But if you want stability at standing height, 4 legged standing desks are the way to go. I’ve never seen a two legged standing desk that doesn’t wobble quite a bit at standing heights. I personally kept a 4 legged standing desk I was sent by flexispot and use it as my top down filming desk because I don’t have to worry about stability. And I have it on wheels.
Ngl the sub-$300 standing desk market is rough but doable. VIVO - FEZIBO for stability, the extra storage on FEZIBO isn't worth the wobble. If you can stretch to $380, FlexiSpot E7 on sale is a completely different league. For a laptop + monitor arm setup, wobble is gonna bother you more than you think — worth saving the extra if your back is already done.
For $300 electric, FlexiSpot E7 on sale is the move — dual motor, barely any wobble, solid build. Catches discounts often so worth checking. If you want to save more, the FEZIBO gets the job done but wobbles a bit more at standing height. Fine for light use. Honestly for $300 you're at the ceiling of budget standing desks — anything cheaper is a gamble on the motor long-term.
Love my fezibo, can't imagine myself needing a more expensive one tbh
