Flexispot E6 Max on Amazon or the Flexispot E7/E5 from them directly. I’ve been very pleased with mine & they have a solid warranty, longer than most. Look at the solid light bamboo if possible, it has a similar tensile strength to steel & looks very pretty. Another solid option if it will fit your height is the hand crank Home Depot Husky standing desk. It looks good & is very heavy duty. It wouldn’t go tall enough for me but I am 6 ft 4 in.
I think there is a sweet spot/middle ground. Idk if you need to spend big bucks though. I originally bought a 150 dollar single motor/stage no name desk on Amazon & I definitely got what I paid for. It was wobbly & loud, didn’t not seem long for this world if I used every day for work. 6-8 months later I ended up getting a middle of the road/budget dual motor Flexispot E6 Max & it is infinitely better. I’ve had for over two years using it 45 hrs a week & think it’s going to last me a long time. My wife uses the old standing desk for a craft table & cycles/uses it rarely.
It's heavy, probably because it's real bamboo. But seriously amazing value for money super sturdy.
I brought this FLEXISPOT E6 MAX 140x80 Electric Standing Desk a few months back, and I am so glad I did. The desk is super solid and very smooth in operation. Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions about the model. Cheers.
My "lightweight" set up is a complete desk they called EC1. It's 48x30 and pretty basic. 1 motor, 2 legs, each leg has 2 telescoping sections. It's pretty sturdy, but it moves a bit at the top. Not anything that really bugs me, though. This desk carries a dual monitor stand with a 24" and a 22", a small computer case (which I've suspended underneath to reduce clutter on the desktop), keyboard, mouse, and various stuff for basic office work. My heavy desk uses the EC6 Max, dual motor, 3 stage legs and a heavy wooden top I found on FB Marketplace. It's 27x71" and quite stout. It's got 4 programmable memory slots which is a very nice feature. The dual motors really make a difference in how much weight it can lift and the 3 stage legs keep it very steady, even at the standing height. This desk is my real workhorse as it's big enough to put my dual 24" monitors on one end, and allow hobby electronic building and testing on the other side with a soldering station, battery charging station, and various other tools.
I’m happy with my Flexispot, I believe it’s the E6Q and have had it ~9mo. It’s 48x24” and goes down to 24.7”. I do kinda wish that I got something slightly bigger, my two 27” monitors are 2ft wide apiece so they take the entire thing. The desk itself is great though.
I have the Flexispot E6Q from Amazon and it goes down to 23.5”.
I'm also short, I just got a Flexispot that goes down to 25" (I believe it's the E6). So far it's been solid and looks great, no issues so far but I can't speak to longevity yet. I have the 71" rubberwood top. It was about $450 before tax. My boyfriend has an Uplift and it doesn't rise up or down anymore (and he rarely if ever raised its height), he said he's had it less than 5 years and paid over $800 for it. I think he has the 50" or so inch bamboo top.
