I got e7 plus max a couple of months ago and am very happy with purchase. One thing to note about e7 plus max was that it doesn’t come with pre drilled holes. I had to spend some muscle power to align it properly before drilling because you have to assemble the frame first and then put it on top of the table top. The frame is extremely heavy and aligning it before drilling was particularly painful. The drilling part was easy
r/StandingDesk • Need help deciding between Uplift v2 4-leg, Deskhaus Apex Pro, and Flexispot e7 plus max ->This is my first standing desk for my home office, and my main priority was finding something that wouldn't wobble. The desk at my day job has two legs and my monitors shake every time I type, which is a little distracting. After some research, I landed on the four-leg FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max. Since it has four legs and four motors, I figured this would be a pretty nice desk. I compared the E7 plus max to a couple competitors such as Desk Haus Peak Pro and the uplift V2. I felt the E7 plus max provided the best value and loved having the different desktop options to choose from at the product page. I haven't physically seen the others in person, but the e7 plux max is built with great quality and I don't see any sacrifice in this regards for getting that good value. I got the 55x28 inch rubberwood top in espresso. First impression taking it out of the box is that this thing is beefy. The legs and feet are really heavy, and it definitely feels like a quality piece of hardware. The stability is exactly what I was hoping for. I’m happy to report that whether it’s at my sitting height (26") or standing height (40.9"), the desk is solid as a rock. No monitor wobble at all while I'm typing. It’s a huge improvement. A couple of notes on the top I got. The espresso color is richer and not bland as it looks on the website, which I was happy about. Also, if you’re measuring for a tight space, the top wasn’t exactly 55x28—I measured it at 55 1/8" by 27 5/8". Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. This could help for cable management planning though underneath the desk. The biggest project was cable management. The desk has two metal crossbars underneath (one front, one back), which makes it a bit tricky. FlexiSpot gives you a magnetic cover that neatly hides the desk’s motor and power cables, which is a good start. But I have a ton of other stuff—computer connections, speakers, chargers, a KVM switch, and two thunderbolt hubs—so I bought a large Humanscale NeatTech mesh tray to wrangle it all. This is where I had to get creative. To install the tray's hooks at the back, I needed about 4.2 inches of clearance. The desk frame only gave me 3.6 inches of space from the edge of the desk to the crossbar. Thankfully, the fix was easy: I just moved the rear crossbar forward an inch, which gave me the space I needed. It means I have a little less clearance at the front (about 2.6 inches), but there's still a ton of open space in the middle, and it works perfectly for my setup. For the install of the frame to the desk top, there were pre-dilled holes but I could not use those exact spots because I have to move the rear crossbar forward an inch to install the cable management hooks from humanscale. So making sure the crossbars and side brackets were completely straight was a challenge, I did that by measuring how far they were to the end of the desk top, but I am sure each person might come up with a different way for this part. I did not want to drill the pilot holes before making sure these were completely straight. If this sounds a little challenging, I would watch some helpful tutorials online on how to install a standing desk frame to a desk top to give you some ideas. As for using it day-to-day, the motors are pretty fast and not too loud. You can hear them, but it’s a smooth sound, not jarring. The keypad is also great, and the lock feature has already proven essential thanks to my infant who loves to press buttons. Overall, I'm really happy with it. It completely checks off everything I wanted.
r/StandingDesk • My first standing desk at home - FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max ->My Deskhaus Peak Pro with 3 monitors (2 34" UW + 1 27") has no wobble with all of them on monitor arms. This is for both sitting (26") and standing (41") heights. I think the Deskhaus Peak Pro and the new Flexispot E7 Plus Max are the best you can get for least wobble?
r/StandingDesk • Help decide on a standing desk - Budget ~$500-700 ->I think the Peak Pro you can get for about 800 shipped. Around the same for the E7 Plus max? Worth the extra $100 imo. Mine has been problem free and no wobble. Plus, these standing desks will last years as they all have 10-15year warranty. Just need to change the desktop if you want something new. Worth the extra $$ if you spend 5-6+ hours a day at it.
r/StandingDesk • Help decide on a standing desk - Budget ~$500-700 ->I got the same frame for my butcher block desk (72" x 36") and love it!
r/StandingDesk • My first standing desk at home - FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max ->One thing I have to point out is that both we and Deskhaus focus on the essence of what makes a desk... well, a desk. When you're using a desk, the most important thing—or let’s say the most annoying thing—is how much it wobbles. This is something a lot of people don’t realize because with a regular desk that’s 27 inches high, as long as it’s not a total piece of junk, it’s usually pretty stable. But here’s the catch: when you raise a desk to 35 or 48 inches, wobbling becomes an issue. This is just a universal downside of standing desks—it’s unavoidable. The best anyone can do is minimize it. That’s why some customers think their standing desk is defective when it feels unstable, but in reality, that’s just how these desks work. For example, check out this \[[YouTube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-mWszhGYcw)\] that tests the stability of the Uplift V2. Now, back to the point. While Secretlab's desk does have a ton of flashy accessories that look cool, I personally think they missed the mark on the desk’s core purpose—it’s got noticeable wobble. Those fancy add-ons? You can find similar ones on Amazon and use them with a more stable standing desk, which I think is a smarter move. That said, most decent two-leg standing desks are stable enough for typical office use. For example, when you’re typing while standing, you won’t really notice the monitor shaking unless you’re actively pushing on the desk. That’s why some people are perfectly happy with Secretlab’s desk—it all comes down to how much wobble someone can tolerate. If you’re more sensitive to wobbling, you might want to look into a four-leg standing desk for better stability. Even among four-leg desks, though, there are differences. Build quality matters a lot. Generally, unless you’re dealing with crazy brand markups, pricier desks tend to have wider crossbars, thicker legs, and three-stage columns. For instance, comparing our FlexiSpot E7 Plus and E7Q, both are four-leg standing desks, but the E7Q is more stable because it’s built with a heavier-duty frame. You can literally see it in the product weight. But here’s the kicker: the E7 Plus is priced similarly to many two-leg standing desks, and it’s obviously way more stable than those. Check out this \[[stability test video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V53gM7FxBGU)\]—start at the 5-minute mark to see the E7 Plus in action. If your budget’s got some wiggle room, the Deskhaus Apex Pro or our E7Q would both be solid picks.
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot vs Deskhaus vs Secretlab ->Yes, but you can check our new E7 plus max, it can pair with your 80" top well, and it's more stable than E7 plus, if you buy it in US store, feel free to DM me to get a coupon code
r/StandingDesk • Questions on Flexispot E7 Plus Frame and Tabletop size ->At standing height, when you’re typing or moving the mouse around, even with bigger motions, the monitor doesn’t really show any noticeable shake. That’s the level you get with the E7 Plus. If you lean on the desk a bit, or rest your chin on your hands while moving them around, you’ll see some visible wobble on the E7 Plus. With the E7 Plus Max though, that doesn’t happen, even if you give it a little push, there’s hardly any movement.

r/StandingDesk • Questions on Flexispot E7 Plus Frame and Tabletop size ->I have the the E7 Plus as per the video below and have been very happy. Delivery was very fast in Australia- 3 days. Just note that the top and legs will be delivered by different carriers - initially I was stressed that a piece was missing. [https://youtu.be/RtYbkKlZxLg?si=IOJ2kWVUU0YGBdK1](https://youtu.be/RtYbkKlZxLg?si=IOJ2kWVUU0YGBdK1) Unfortunately I have not had any experience with the other table. Edited - note that the E7 plus has 4 legs compared to the stand E7’s 2 legs. I bought it for the stability.
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot E7 or Desky Dual ->Anything from Flexispot that is E7 and above. I would suggest the E7 Plus but u/Ramzes888 can help.
r/StandingDesk • looking for high quality standing desk, what’s actually worth it? ->I would say both as I have done that without issues.
r/StandingDesk • looking for high quality standing desk, what’s actually worth it? ->Just wanted to share my thoughts on the Flexispot E7 Plus frame after upgrading from a series of budget desks. This is my first “good” desk setup, and I couldn’t be happier. **What I got:** * Only bought the **E7 Plus frame** * Paired it with a **solid maple 72”x30” top from Uline** * Total cost: **CA$570 (\~US$414) for the frame**, **CA$490 (\~US$356) for the top** **Assembly experience:** * As a **6’ tall, 180lb guy**, I **assembled the whole thing solo**. Took effort, especially with the heavy legs, but mostly doable. * Packaging was great, **super tight and protective** * Instructions were **pretty clear** * Didn’t need to pre drill anything, just used an **impact driver** to screw into the wood top directly * Legs were **really heavy and solid**, but that gave me confidence it could easily hold the weight of the thick top **Performance:** * **Stability is amazing**, those 4 legs make a hugggeeee difference * The **height range is way better than expected**. My **short wife can use the lowest setting comfortably**, and the **highest point is more than enough** for me at 6’ * It’s **smooth and quiet** when adjusting * And yes… I totally laid down on it and rode it up like all the YouTubers 😄 **Final thoughts:** * This desk **feels premium**, and I’m seriously impressed * Would **absolutely recommend** the E7 Plus frame to anyone looking for a quality standing desk base * 10/10 – **I’m loving it**
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot E7 Plus Frame Review (Paired with Uline Solid Maple Top) ->I assembled mine last week. The good news is that the "base" desk does not need any drilling. There's 2 screws that are supposed to be drilled, but if your force it enough with the screwdriver - they screw - because they're pointy enough to do the classic "IKEA assemble by brute force". I also purchased the cloth cable management thingy, and for those you actually need to drill.
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot E7 Plus Review (30+ days of use) ->Depends on your requirements. I looked at this and the flexispot e7 plus. Went with the flexispot because it has four legs, so it is likely less wobble when raised. It was much cheaper since I reused my original large (180cm) desktop, therefore only needing to purchase the legs. I like the idea of an integrated cable system, but nothing a cheap bolt on tray from Amazon wouldn't fix. Can confirm that the wobble isn't an issue for me, I'm over 6ft and need it quite high, and I get quite animated when I game.
r/StandingDesk • Convince me not to buy Secret Lab Magnus Pro/Evo ->Four leg for extra stability. In terms of the mount it depend on the depth of your desk. I have the e7 plus, and have 10cm space underneath. My steering wheel, and hotas clamps fit nicely.
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot 2-leg E7 PRO vs 4-leg E7 PLUS? ->100% for the price, it's a brilliant addition to my office. I game so stability is key, it's pretty sturdy when raised thanks to the four legs, most noticeable wobble is side to side, but who's shaking their desk like that in any real normal use.
r/StandingDesk • Flexispot 2-leg E7 PRO vs 4-leg E7 PLUS? ->Also, I only bought the frame. I used my old desk top. I would recommend shopping around for a worktop, you can probably get one cheaper from a wood supplier.
