We have two standing desk setups, both frames are from different brands. My setup: 200cm x 70cm x 4cm Solid Mahogany Tabletop - 10k Flexispot E7 Premium (Dual Motors) - 17k Around 80kg payload Wife's setup: 120cm x 70cm x 4cm Solid Mahogany Tabletop - 6k Mxtark dual motors - 6k Around 50kg payload The build quality is different; the Flexispot is even more solid than the Mxtark's, and it is faster when switching positions. But, looking back, I think it would have been fine for me to go with the Mxtark's for both. The most important factors for me are the dual motors option and the choice of tabletops. Do not ever opt for the first-party tabletops, especially if they are just particle boards. Always go for a high-quality solid tabletop. It can last you for years, and you will be able to use multiple monitor arms without issues.

6k+ (like from the mxstark) for the frame alone is good basta dual motor and rated 100kg+ payload. I waited for the sale to get the flexispot e7 premium for 16.5k last time. There's no need to upgrade from that unless you really want luxury like the C form factor from the e7 pro or the 4 leg option of the odin. For the tabletop non nego ang solid wood for me. It's what I will be touching everyday after all. Got mine from tabla primera but you can always ask your local woodshops for your spec.

word of advice: when getting flexispot e7, get the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Premium (the off center one) instead of this FlexiSpot E7 Premium (centered bridge). you'll hate it when your knee caps bang onto the support railing in the middle.

i ran into the exact same height issue when setting up my home office. the flexispot e7 actually goes down to 22.6 inches without the top, so with a standard 1-inch desktop you're right at 23.6. if you need that extra inch and a half, some folks add a thick cutting board or custom top. i've used the Flexispot E7 for about eight months now and stability is solid at sitting height - no monitor wobble even with arms. the crossbar is low enough that i don't hit it, and i'm 5'10. deskhaus peak is definitely more robust but the wait times pushed me toward flexispot instead.

I have an E7 and an E7+ in two different offices, both with two monitors on arms. You can definitely tell the + is more stable at the top, but the E7 never bothers me at all

No, it's the non-pro (T frame) version. It is very stable at sitting height and still quite stable at standing height. I've been using a Jarvis at home since 2015, and I'd say it's pretty much exactly the same, which is also the same as the Uplift v2. Honestly I think unless you're really really tall, or are mounting a bunch of extra weight to the desk, 4-leg is overkill

IMO Jarvis is about 10% nicer and typically waaaaay more expensive. E7 is still plenty quiet, fast, and stable, and is the right pick between the two for most people.

Flexispot E7 is the best option for most people. Great value

Jarvis desk is made by Jiecang (same as Uplift and Deskhaus). Flexispot is made by Loctek. I have a Jarvis and a Flexispot E7. The Jarvis is like 5-10% nicer. Slightly quieter, and slightly more stable at standing height. But the E7 is already plenty good, I think provides better value. I haven’t tried the E7 Pro but I would imagine it’s basically identical to Jarvis and Uplift V2. That said, I wouldn’t go below an E7.

FYI we recently launched our own desks and we went with Loctek in part because they deliver great frames at a great value, and as others have said, all the frames on the market are very similar. We were interested in innovating with the technology for controlling the desk instead.

I haven't used the v3 yet, but I've used the v2 and the e7 plenty. I'd say the difference is not worth it.

BTW in case you’re interested our [Tempo Controller](https://ergodriven.com/products/tempo-smart-controller-for-standing-desks) works with v2, v3, e7 and e7+

Yes, I use the standing function daily to stretch my back and legs. I recommend the Flexidesk E7 model, which is large and sturdy - it can support various heavy monitor stands and the ability to adjust and pre-set various heights is useful too.

Flexispot E7 (Not pro), which can go as low as 24 inches which is enough for me (I need 24.8 inch to sit correctly). Or anything with 3-stage leg, 2-stage leg can not go so low.

One thing I want to point out is that stability is pretty subjective. Even our most basic E2 model gets great marks — about 70% of customers say it’s very stable. That’s because most people use it mostly sitting down and only stand occasionally. At sitting height, it’s rock solid. But once you get to E7, E7 Pro, or something like the Uplift V2 — which are two-leg desks — even if you drop a few hundred extra bucks, some people will still feel it’s not totally stable. Why? Because there are lots of customers who stand at standing height all the time, and sometimes lean on the desk edge. At that height, there’s no desk that won’t have *some* movement. Some people are fine with a little wobble — for example, if you have a heavy monitor arm, a tiny shake usually doesn’t matter. But others notice even the smallest movement and find it unacceptable. So whether a desk feels stable really depends on your usage style and how sensitive you are to wobble. Saying a desk is stable isn’t a lie, and saying it’s unstable isn’t necessarily wrong — it’s personal. If you want a desk with basically zero wobble, I’d suggest going for a good four-leg desk. You can check other brands — most offer free returns, so it’s worth trying a few to see what works best for you.

I will recommend the E7 with chipboard top, about $400, but get better stability and build quality

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a new standing desk (160x80) for my home office, and I've narrowed it down to a few options available in Europe. Here's what I'm seeing right now, sorted by total price including current discounts and shipping: * Desktronic HomeOne – 449€ * Desktronic HomePro – 499€ * Buldesk Model Air – 588€ * FlexiSpot E7 – 599€ * FlexiSpot E7 Pro – 650€ * Buldesk Model Pro – 688€ I already own a *FlexiSpot E7 Advanced (120x60)* bought in 2022. It’s done the job, but I’m moving it to my hobby area and want a bigger, more dedicated setup for work. I have to admit I didn’t use the standing feature as much as I should have, so I’m not sure about the longevity of the motor on mine. That said, I now have a proper workspace and plan to use the standing function much more with the new desk. As for weight: I won’t overload the desk, at most I’ll have a laptop, my PC case, one or two ultrawide monitors, and the usual suspects (headphones, speakers, m/kb and some random desk stuff). Does anyone have experience with Desktronic or Buldesk? * Desktronic looks like a great value and has a ton of positive reviews. That said, I can’t help but wonder if the lower price means they had to cut corners somewhere in terms of overall build quality. Also, their leg design, thinner at the bottom and thicker at the top feels a bit counterintuitive to me. * Buldesk is less known, but I like that they’re made in the EU, and they use Linak motors, which I’ve heard good things about. * As for FlexiSpot, I’m curious if the quality has changed since 2022. Mine worked fine, but I’m not sure how their newer models hold up and like I said I didn't use the standing feature enough. Any long-term feedback on these brands would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hey thanks for the info. Honestly I don't have much wobble on my E7 Advanced when it's all the way up. As for the assembly, I can manage a few holes, but I have a hard time to find a local woodshop that sell top like I want for a fair price.
