I just bought the **FlexiSpot E7 Pro** and it's really sturdy. No complaints at all. Very sturdy at the top and the bottom. Actually, the most sturdy well built desk I've owned.
I’ve not noticed any wobble at all, feels extremely solid and well made.
Congrats! I just ordered mine today (e7 pro). How long did delivery take? DPD are delivering the desk / frame and fedex are delivering the casters. Got a confirmed date and time for the casters, just not the desk 😂
Just moved recently and was looking to replace my old desk with a new standing desk. I bought the E7 Pro after much debate, with the dark bamboo desktop, 55x28. Pros: \- Love the wood that came with this desk, feels premium, smooth and a I genuinely like working on it. \- Wire management is great. Came with everything I needed, including the tray that spans almost the width of the desk, where I stuffed my power strip and all my cables. Also love that I can hide the motor wires with the magnetic cover. \- *Pretty* stable. This is my first standing desk so I don't have a reference. But currently have no complaints when I'm standing. Will expand on why this isn't perfect in the cons. \- Very smooth motor. The way this goes up and down is a pleasure to see. So smooth, not too loud imo. \- Easy installation. Only thing was the desktop didn't have pre-drilled holes for wire management tray. Cons: \- Again, *pretty* stable. originally had my main monitor mounted, and it would shake quite a bit when I was typing furiously and the desk was raised. Ended up taking the mount off because I didn't see the need for it at the moment, so currently not an issue for me. \- It comes with a usb port on the controls. I couldn't gauge what type of port it was on the listing, but the photo of the male connector plugged in *looked* like usb-c to me and I thought at this price point (plus this desk is fairly new to the market) it definitely would come with usb-c. Had my dreams shattered when I saw a **usb-a port**. Apparently that's how it is for the Canadian market which is disappointing and I do wish that was made more clear. Overall very happy with my purchase. I was constantly sitting and it's nice to be able to take standing "breaks" every so often in a day. I'm still working on making this setup look better, just recently moved so not trying to splurge on new accessories all at once. Debating about the monitor stand I bought as well, it has this lip that's nice for setting things down on and putting my phone/tablet on as well, but it gets in the way of bringing my vertical monitor closer. Here's my old setup for comparison: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Workspaces/comments/1j8y7r0/wfh\_setup/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Workspaces/comments/1j8y7r0/wfh_setup/)
I've just bought an E7 Pro last week and I'm really happy with it. Currently sitting at it while I type! I would deffo recommend from my experience.
I disagree. I have an e7 pro and love it. At chest height at 6’ to lean and work on, my e7 pro has no wobble. And quality is there, I’m sure there could be higher gauge and quality at higher price points, but what I have works for me and is a great bang for buck buy. No regrets, no plans to replace and it’s been 2 years running so far and no issues.
Flexispot has been solid for me nearly 2 years no issues so far
And I’m using the e7 pro it’s awesome
Technical writer here who’s been WFH for years. Go electric. You will absolutely not crank a manual desk up and down 4 times a day, so it’ll just end up becoming a permanent sitting desk. Uplift V2 Commercial. It’s rock solid with multiple monitors and has a crossbar that kills the wobble you’re worried about. If you want to save some cash, the Flexispot E7 is the solid runner-up most people here swear by. Standing for 12 hours sucks too. Your feet will just replace your butt as the source of pain. Alternate every hour to actually fix the back issues.
I have the E7 Pro and have had it for a year and a half. It's amazing though I do want to say that it still wobbles at a standing height (if I push on it, for regular use it's unnoticeable). The extra leg room space advertised from the c-leg structure also doesn't matter much if you get a larger desktop. Depending on your use case the extra weight capacity on the E7 line can be beneficial, but otherwise the E5 should do just as well at a better price.
The E7 Pro is very stable. No, it won’t compare to a heavy mahogany executive desk, but it will certainly handle someone pounding on their keyboard. My wife has an older, lower level FlexiSpot, and she never complains about stability. For those who complain about stability, I am not sure what they are doing to their desks.
I bought the best Flexispot that was on the market at the time (E7 Pro). Everyone of them does wobble at height, sadly. What about when the desk isn't at height?
