I've had a flex spot desk for about 2 months now and I love my new standing in the morning and sitting down after 11 approach. Picture attached for reference as it is not a desk that Flexispot list on their own website strangely. But for just over £200 it's a bargain honestly. It's the L shaped 180x110 model on Amazon. I have a plywood floor with commercial building style carpet tiles so it is very flat and I have 0 wobble at all, at any height that I've used. It's absolutely fantastic and I am really happy with my purchase. https://preview.redd.it/38psp00ufk2g1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b1c1693b84e175ece3f22dcc23df20eb8f44ab7
I just put the E7L together and I am amazed by how sturdy it is - would 100% recommend this line of desk.
2nd this. I just bought 2 L-shaped from Flexispot and very impressed with the build quality and materials.
Yes, I use the standing function daily to stretch my back and legs. I recommend the Flexidesk E7 model, which is large and sturdy - it can support various heavy monitor stands and the ability to adjust and pre-set various heights is useful too.
A big feature to look for is a collision sensor — stops the desk from going up or down if it senses resistance in the moving direction Had a desk without this and i have slanted ceilings if I wasn’t paying attention I’d deff go through the ceiling with my monitor I have a flexispot pro now prob the e7 idr but I’m super satisfied with it
Got an E7 but I'd say a monitor arm is just as big of an upgrade. Really really sucks to be looking down at your screen
Yes, but you do have to be disciplined to use it: at times I forget mine is a sit/stand desk because I just sit my arse down out of habit!! But they do make a difference for sure. I bought a FlexiSpot chassis (forget which one exactly - E7 or variant maybe?) and then a nice oak worktop from a company that just does worktops and fitted it myself. Super sturdy, fast to go up and down and holds plenty of weight. Get a dual motor variant if you can.
Figured I’d share my initial experience with the FlexiSpot E7 since I spent way too long researching desk frames... Before this, I had a Titan Fitness A2 frame. It was fine at first, but it’s single-motor and couldn’t handle the weight of my setup. I’m running a 60” x 30” butcher block that’s around 60 lbs, plus two 27” monitors on standalone monitor arms. On top of that, I like to sit pretty low, and even at its lowest setting the Titan was still a bit too tall for me. With Xmas sales, I decided to go for an upgrade of the frame. My must-haves were dual motors and a lower minimum height. I was only looking at frames (already had the desk top), and narrowed it down to the FlexiSpot E7, E7 Pro, and Uplift V3. I ended up going with the E7. The E7 Pro has a higher weight limit, but I didn’t need it for my needs, and the Pro’s minimum height does not go as low as the standard E7. Price also played a role... the E7 was less expensive compared to the other two. Setup was overall pretty straightforward. Took me about 1.5 hours total. The hardest part was getting the frame perfectly centered on the butcher block. For whatever reason, I couldn’t get it exactly even... it’s probably off by like 1/4 inch on sides... but it doesn’t affect stability or use at all. One thing worth noting: this thing is heavy. Definitely needed help flipping the desk over once everything was attached. So far, I’m really happy with it. The desk is very stable, even fully extended at standing height, which was my biggest concern coming from the Titan. It has a very slight wiggle but that's expected with two legs only. The motors are also noticeably faster and smoother than my old desk. One small but underrated feature... the child lock. I’ve got a toddler who loves pressing buttons. And finally, the lower minimum height is perfect for me. Overall, zero regrets with the E7 so far. I'd recommend the desk based on my experience w/ it so far. Shipping was also quick. I ordered it on a Friday and got it the following Tuesday(?).
Eu tenho duas E7 flexipro . São estáveis e recomendo
Jarvis desk is made by Jiecang (same as Uplift and Deskhaus). Flexispot is made by Loctek. I have a Jarvis and a Flexispot E7. The Jarvis is like 5-10% nicer. Slightly quieter, and slightly more stable at standing height. But the E7 is already plenty good, I think provides better value. I haven’t tried the E7 Pro but I would imagine it’s basically identical to Jarvis and Uplift V2. That said, I wouldn’t go below an E7.
FYI we recently launched our own desks and we went with Loctek in part because they deliver great frames at a great value, and as others have said, all the frames on the market are very similar. We were interested in innovating with the technology for controlling the desk instead.
